Your ResponsibilitiesIn a nutshell: We are looking for someone to manage a small team of 2-4 lab technicians and LC-MS scientists. We look for dedication, structure, and having your to-do list under control. This is a hands-on job that requires 40% management and 60% hands-on team and infrastructure leadership. Leading and managing the laboratory team of 2-4 people, ensuring efficient workflows to meet tight timelines and release of high-quality resultsHands-on troubleshooting and maintenance experience with LC-MS systemsOverseeing LC-MS operations, supporting troubleshooting and method optimizationEnsuring compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs), ownership of quality management system, and active contribution to fulfill regulatory and laboratory health and safety requirementsSupervising data analysis and interpretation, ensuring accurate and reliable resultsManaging laboratory resources, including inventory and Laboratory Information Management System documentationTraining and mentoring junior members of staff, fostering professional growth and collaborationCoordinating schedules and prioritising tasks to meet deadlines effectivelyDriving innovation and continuous improvement in analytical workflowsYour ProfileMaster's (with minimum of 5-7 years of work experience in private sector) or PhD (with minimum of 2-3 years of work experience in private sector) in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Bioanalytics, or a related fieldProven experience in leading a laboratory team in an commercial (preferred) or research settingStrong expertise in LC-MS techniques (including micro-LC), including troubleshooting, method development and validation of targeted LC-MS methodsExcellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and outside organisationsDetail-oriented approach with a focus on quality, compliance, and efficiencyHands-on experience with LIMS and laboratory inventory managementAbility to work under pressure to meet tight deadlinesExperience with Shimadzu and Sciex Hardware/software is a big plusWhat We OfferWe structure our compensation in 1) short-term, 2) medium-term and 3) long-termShort-term: Salary to ensure that your lifestyle is covered and you are able to work worry-free about the moneyMedium-term: (Team) Bonus that ensures that you are aligned with our medium term goals, that quality is held high and that the team is operating at 100%.
