    Job Title: Door Fitting TeamSelf-employed RolePay range between £300 - £600 per installWe are seeking confident Door Fitters/Joiners with some structural knowledge who are highly professional and well presented.This is a mobile role working externally around London and the South-east of the UK.

    Your role as a fitting team will include: Working with a range of hand tools to cut, prepare and fit Internal and external Bespoke Doors;
    Ensuring doors are fitted to customer specifications to a high quality level;
    Working in customer homes and dealing with questions on a face-to-face basis;
    Ensuring you and your team work in a highly professional and tidy manner;
    Demonstrating products to customers after fitting;
    Reading and interpreting drawings.

    As a fitting team you will:Have served formal training as a Joiner;Collect the doors from the factory in Sutton
    Have your own tools;
    Have significant experience in fitting Internal and external doors;
    Be able to read drawings, measurements and understand material limitations;
    Be well presented, professional and able to provide excellent references;
    Have a full clean driving licence and having own van would be advantageous.
    Have experience of a range of hand tools.

The business comprises three brands, Neville Johnson Furniture and Stairs, Tom Howley Kitchens and London Door Company and employs in the region of 600 employees.
    Key Responsibilities
    Install a variety of glass in doors, ensuring a precise fitSeal joints and edges of glass using putty, foam and caulking compound to prevent leakage and draftsReplace damaged or broken glass as needed.Install and secure hardware fittings such as hinges, locks and letterplatesInspect completed glass and hardware installations to ensure they meet quality standardsApply touch up paint as required after glazing and hardware fittingTroubleshoot and resolve any issues or problems that arise during installationVerify that the glass design matches the specificationsInspect finished doors for flaws, and report as necessaryOrganising jobs that are to be dispatch the following morning ensuring the correct goods are being dispatched to the right locationsReport any equipment malfunctions or repair needs promptly.Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines when handling paints, solvents, and other chemicals.Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.Keep work area clean and organised.Complete production reports and documentation accurately.Benefits

    We are seeking to recruit several team’s of two persons fitters to join our furniture division.
    To ensure our clients always receive the very best installation service we need quality fitters who are passionate and determined to deliver the highest standards. The successful candidates must be experienced in fitted furniture and fully skilled in all aspects of fitted furniture. An appreciation of high end bespoke merchandise is essential.
    Working on a self-employed basis you’ll be installing the finest furniture to an exceptionally high standard and be rewarded with an uncapped earning potential, paid on a weekly basis.
    The successful candidates must understand that high mileage is part of the position, and must be willing to travel and stay overnight when required. A company van will be provided at a discounted rate.
