    The Role
    We are seeking a personable and professional Assistant General Manager to support the General Manager and play a key role in the smooth running of the restaurant. You’ll be a calm, confident leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, using initiative to solve problems while keeping the team motivated and service standards consistently high focused on Produce and guest experience . This is a hands-on role where you’ll lead by example, ensuring every guest enjoys an exceptional experience while supporting the operational and financial success of the business. Working closes with the Owner/Executive Chef.

    About You
    Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager or Assistant General Manager

    Natural leader with excellent communication and organisational skills

    Calm under pressure with a professional, approachable manner

    Strong eye for detail and commitment to maintaining high standards

    Passionate about food, drink, and delivering outstanding hospitality

    Able to use initiative and take ownership when required

    Key Responsibilities
    Support the General Manager in leading daily operations and the wider team

    Take charge of the restaurant in the GM’s absence, ensuring seamless service

    Recruit, train, and develop team members, fostering a positive culture

    Monitor guest satisfaction and respond to feedback with professionalism

    Manage scheduling, labour budgets, and costs effectively

    Ensure compliance with health & safety, licensing, and company policies

    Work closely with the kitchen and bar teams to support menu changes, events, and promotions

    Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and oversee stock control

    About the Role


    A dynamic and growing accommodation provider in Central Bristol is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Reservations Supervisor to join their busy team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for hospitality and excellent customer service skills to play a key role in managing bookings across a portfolio of high-end serviced apartments.

    As the reservations Supervisor, you will be the first point of contact for guests and corporate clients, ensuring every enquiry is handled efficiently and professionally. You’ll work to maximise occupancy, support daily operations, and help deliver a seamless guest experience from enquiry through to departure.

    Key Responsibilities

    Respond to guest enquiries via phone, email, and in person in a timely and professional manner

    Process and manage reservations to optimise occupancy across the property portfolio

    Liaise with corporate clients and their guests to ensure a smooth booking experience

    Handle guest queries and resolve issues with efficiency and care

    Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure apartments meet quality standards

    Assist with general administrative tasks in the office

    Participate in an out-of-hours call rota as required ( normally working 1 weekend in 3 on call)

    Skills & Experience

    Previous experience in hospitality or a reservations-related role

    Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    Strong administrative and organisational abilities

    Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word)

    Comfortable working as part of a team and independently

    Problem-solving mindset with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively

    Availability to work across a 5-day week, including some weekends and bank holidays
