    Job Summary: In this role, you will provide project field engineering specialization and expertise with work planning and packaging, material management, quantity verification and validation, safety and quality control, technical inspection and testing knowledge, and subcontract coordination. Your recommendations will ensure field engineering activities operate safely, are complete, and conform to quality standards and project requirements. Major Responsibilities: Specialization & Expertise Provides knowledge and expertise in a particular discipline, subject matter, or specialized process required for construction (e.g., tunnel boring, site de-watering, glove boxes, special coatings systems, HVAC systems, Fire Detection and Suppression, reactor tender gallery coordinator, etc.) Provides technical consultation support to projects. Work Planning & Packaging Prepares construction drawings and sketches. Leads preparation of construction drawings and schedules and the design of temporary construction facilities and ensures preparation of "as built" drawings and other job plans. Material Management Initiates requisitions for field purchases. Prepares quantity takeoffs of field purchased material and equipment. Quantities Leads the verification of commodities on quantity tracking systems or other computer database systems as required. Safety / Quality Control Ensures zero accident philosophy and requirements are implemented and adhered to by craft and others when in the operational area, and tools and equipment are in safe condition and operated safely. Technical Proactively considers continuous learning or show interest to pursue appropriate learning activities STR / Subcontract Coordinator Reviews and approves inspection test plans Education and Experience Requirements: Required bachelor's degree(or equivalent) and ideally more than 10 years of relevant experience. The project scope includes planning, design, integration and delivery of major airfield infrastructure, buildings, systems and associated periphery infrastructure. Job Summary: In this role, you will conduct field investigations and client interviews to determine work scope and cost estimates for a projects civil/structural aspects. You will lead design, development, modification, evaluation, and constructability reviews of civil/structural components and processes. Your technical expertise will ensure the unique and complex requirements of a projects civil/structural aspects are met. Major Responsibilities: Schedules, conducts, or coordinates detailed phases of the civil/structural engineering work for a global business unit, a project or staff group to include the preparation of original designs layouts, details, drawings and specifications for structures, building, roadways, railroads, etc. Participates in the design, development and modification of Civil/Structural components and?processes utilizing?relevant Engineering Department Procedures?(EDPs), design standards and guides, Bechtel?Standard Application Programs (BSAPs)? and Design Control Check List (DCCL) and Design Review Notices?(DRNs)? Designs structures using knowledge of structural analysis, including statics, dynamics, and materials engineering Determines the appropriate use of various structural elements such as steel, wood, masonry, and concrete to ensure appropriate material is used based on load or stress requirements Originates and checks structural engineering deliverables, such as steel and concrete calculations, specifications, and material requisitions Analyzes problems with conflicting design requirements, sketches ideas and possible solutions Analyzes and reports on the suitability of unconventional materials, techniques and/or difficult coordination requirements Assists in the preparation of cost estimates, quantity take-offs for proposals, forecasts, and change orders Completes Civil/Structural documentation and procedures for installation?and maintenance? Provides assistance to?project and construction?management in identifying and complying with?project Civil/Structural requirements and in addressing?issues as they arise during project execution Education and Experience Requirements: Requires a bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and relevant experience ideally more than 7 years Required Knowledge and Skills: Career-level position within field? Considered skilled and proficient in discipline?
