    The Role

    The Commis Chef will assist the Chef de Partie in the daily preparation
    and service of food, ensuring that the highest standards of quality and hygiene
    are maintained at all times, other duties will include: 
    Ensure
    food is prepared and presented to the highest standards as required by the
    Garden House.Produce
    food as directed by the Chef de Partie. Assist the Chef de Partie
    with the rotation of stock, ensuring the correct storage procedures are
    following and stock levels are maintained.Be
    fully aware of all dishes, menus and recipes, in particular items which are the
    responsibility of your section

    The Person

    You will take pride in your work and have excellent attention to detail.
    Your previous experience will ideally encompass working in a 5* hotel or fine dining restaurant as a Commis Chef or Apprentice Chef.Ideally qualifications will include Food Safety certificate, City & Guilds or equivalent Memberships of Chefs’ Association.Shift PatternThis position will consist of 45 hours per week, working any 5 days out of 7. The hours for this position will typically consist of: 09:00-23:00 or 15:00-23:00. Salary: £30,420 per annum, plus tronc.
