We'll help you succeed The work we do is underpinned by quality. We deliver audits which are trusted and transparent which can be relied upon by companies and their stakeholders. You'll be someone who is comfortable working pro-actively and, managing your own tasks, as well as confident collaborating with others and communicating regularly with Senior Managers, Directors, and BDO's Partners. You'll help deliver accurate and transparent reporting to all relevant stakeholders as you provide long term value. You will be someone with; Qualified ACA/ICAS Qualified or overseas equivalent. Educated up to degree level or CTS. Experience supervising and coaching junior members of staff on site. Working knowledge of UK and International GAAS, IFRS, UK GAAP and Financial Reporting requirements. Working knowledge of firm services, issues regarding advice, and regulation and compliance, including anti-money laundering. Demonstrable knowledge of current economic and market trends Sector experience. Experience with listed audited entities. Experience auditing international groups. The primary responsibility will be to deal with all matters relating to the management of a portfolio of existing clients and assist with the development of targets in order to ensure the continued growth of the business. You will also provide assistance to senior members of staff in both client work and in the management of the group and on occasions the practice. Responsibilities: Provide Tax compliance and advisory services to a wide range of clients. Manage a portfolio of clients including control of billings, and identification of opportunities to improve recoveries, together with cash collection. Pay attention to self-development and continuing professional education with a view to progressing within practice. Develop professional relationships with clients and within the Firm and adapts the approach for the relevant audience. Understand potential risks to the Firm in relation to the Firm's quality control procedures and raising to the appropriate person. Get involved in special assignments on an ad hoc basis.
