    We have a full-time and permanent opening for an Account Manager to join our friendly team at Bartholomews Specialist Distribution.
    As a long-established, family-owned business providing high-quality storage and distribution services to our customers, we are looking for a dedicated professional to join our close knit team.

    About The Role
    This is a key role where you will be the main point of contact for customers, colleagues and our driving team.
    You will oversee and take the lead with day-to-day office and warehouse administration, manage customer accounts, and supporting smooth warehouse operations.
    Working to ensure we deliver exceptional service, accurate order processing, and reliable stock control for our customers.
    You'll work closely with our warehouse team, maintaining clear communication across the business and helping to ensure deliveries, collections, and stock movements are efficiently coordinated each day.
    About You
    You will need working experienced gained in a warehousing and logistics administration role already, and we will be looking for you to demonstrate your understanding of our sector.
    Organised and customer-focused with strong IT skills, excellent communication, and a proactive, can-do attitude.
    Experience of using Microsoft Dynamics (365) would be advantageous to this role.
    This is a full-time and permeant role which will be based at our office based at our warehouse in Eastleigh at Boyatt Wood Industrial Park.

    Fantastic customer-focused opportunity to build a career in a renowned agri-food business encompassing our successful range of bird-feeds and our livestock feed sales, which includes our own range of branded products.
    You will play a key part in supporting and developing our portfolio of customer accounts. Working closely with the wider Bird-food, Livestock Feed and operations teams, ensuring our customers receive excellent service while identifying new opportunities to grow and develop our Bird-food and Feed business.
    The role will be permanent and full-time working from our office at Chichester on Chichester Food Park.
    Key ResponsibilitiesManage and nurture relationships with existing customers within the bird-food and feed categoriesHandle enquiries, process orders, and provide product information and updates.Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and expanding account value.Work collaboratively with production, logistics, and procurement teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment.Support the commercial team with market insights, price updates, and customer feedback.Maintain accurate CRM records and account activity.Attend occasional customer visits, trade events, or supplier meetings when required.
    About YouWe're looking for someone who is personable, proactive, and commercially aware. You will ideally bring:Experience in account management, customer service, or sales (agri/feed sector experience beneficial but not essential).Strong communication skills and a customer-first mindset.Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines.Confidence working with data, pricing, and CRM systems.A genuine interest in agriculture, feed or rural industries.A UK Drivers License would be advantageous as there will be Trade Events and Company events to attend through the year.

    We have a new opening for an experienced and commercially driven Feed Manager to join us on a permanent basis to lead and develop our Feed Department across our range of livestock and game feed products.
    You will lead, motivate and support the Feed Sales Team, drive sales campaigns, and use CRM insights to identify and convert new business opportunities. A key focus will be developing our own-label feed ranges and strengthen customer relationships, ensuring a competitive, high-quality, and sustainable feed offering.
    This role will be based at our main site at Chichester Food Park, Chichester and sits at the heart of our business playing a key part in driving future growth, innovation, and customer satisfaction.
    Key Responsibilities:
    Grow and develop our feed product portfolio, with a strong focus on developing and promoting our ownlabel ranges.
    Lead, inspire, and coach the Feed Sales Team to identify, convert, and maximise every sales opportunity
    Plan and execute targeted seasonal and strategic sales campaigns using Dynamics 365 CRM and sales insights
    Build strong, longterm relationships with customers, suppliers, manufacturers, and partners to generate repeat business and new opportunities
    Set competitive feed pricing and negotiate supplier terms to strengthen margin and market position
    Ensure product availability through effective stock management and logistics coordination across all sites
    Deliver accurate sales reporting, forecasting, and order management while maintaining full UFAS, VMD, and policy compliance

    About YouAs an experienced and commercially driven Feed Manager we are looking for proven experience in a feed-related agricultural role with strong technical knowledge of livestock and game feed nutrition. You will need to demonstrate you are commercially minded ideally with on-farm sales experience. A Confident leader with strong relationship-building skills who is comfortable using CRM systems and sales dataFull UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
