Your work will support our projects to deliver excellent stakeholder management and community relations in line with our BAM policies, processes and strategies. As a Design Manager, this position will report to the Regional Engineering Manager, to develop their skills in all aspects of Civil Engineering for supporting Pre-construction and Project teams throughout Scotland, particularly in respect to the Energy Renewables sector. Your team BAM operates a flexible working policy You will be required to work out of our area offices initially, which are located in Inverness and Kilsyth, Scotland, before going on-site for project delivery. Your mission As a Design Manager, your role will include the following: Engender collaboration at the interface between BAM Infrastructure and the designer. Establish and promote best practice in health, safety, sustainability, cost, time, buildability and appropriate quality matters. Collate and promote strategic advice and knowledge associated with the designers processes and design management best practice. Take a personal interest in identifying, coaching and developing key staff. Provide operational, strategic, contractual and technical advice and/or service to bid preparation and project management.
