    BAM UK Ireland are looking to recruit an experienced and motivated Commercial Manager to work within the ASTI Framework You will be required to work on a major energy infrastructure development in Inverness-shire. Making Possible As a Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for the following: Maintain effective communications with the Framework Director, Regional Commercial Manager, project management and other associated disciplines and enhance the profile of commercial services Be responsible for staff matters which may include staff succession awareness, recruitment, development, attitude and behavioural issues, competency and retainment issues, staff allocation Provide commercial contact with supply chain partners through pre-contract meetings, contract vetting and input to subcontract documents Ensure audits are carried out and feedback is provided to the business Provide commercial input to contacts with clients, and if necessary, clients representatives Provide commercial advice to the site team in connection with all project issues and provide input to area commercial discussions / reviews Take part in discussions concerning project performance and provide commercial input to project strategy Ensure the production of monthly cost and value reports, quarterly forecasts and company tied costs. Obtain cash-flow information and present all reports Provide input to dispute identification and management Produce and negotiate insurance claims with insurers representatives Agree terms and engage legal and commercial consultants and monitor their accounts Maintain contact with supply chain partners through contract vetting and input to contract documentation Carry out sub-contract document vetting and input to sub-contract documentation What do you bring to the role? Successful experience as a Commercial Manager working with multiple projects and with a minimum of 4 years in this role Joint Venture experience Member of a Professional Institution or working towards application of the ICES, or similar Open collaborative approach and willing to help and assist those around you Educated to Degree level in a relevant Commercial, Construction or Project Management qualification (preferred but not essential) Whats in it for you? What youll be doing As a Groundworker Apprentice, youll learn essential skills to support construction projects, including: Preparing and levelling construction sites. Working as part of a team to complete a variety of groundwork tasks.
