Provide assurance that impacts to cost, schedule, safety and performance are appropriately assessed and that changes are reviewed, approved and documented before implementation.Configuration Status Accounting: Define and oversee the configuration status accounting approach across alliance members, ensuring configuration records, registers and revision histories are maintained consistently, remain auditable and provide visibility of current configuration status.Verification and Audit: Establish assurance requirements and support audits, inspections and quality reviews to confirm that approved configurations are being implemented correctly and remain compliant with HS2 standards and contractual requirements.Information and Digital Management: Coordinate the integration of configuration management with BIM and digital engineering processes. Promote consistent control of documentation, models and asset information and support development of the Asset Information Model for handover.Governance and Process Development: Develop, maintain and continuously improve alliance-wide configuration management procedures aligned with HS2 and Rail Systems Alliance requirements. The ER Advisor will play a key role in supporting the people agenda by helping managers operate confidently, compliantly, and in alignment with BAM’s, the joint venture and project values and behaviour standards.
