    About the RoleWe’re looking for a proactive and innovative Data Services Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will drive the development and delivery of new data solutions aligned with our Group data strategy, collaborating closely with stakeholders to ensure these services are understood, adopted, and delivering real value. This includes educating teams on data best practices and analysing the outputs of the solutions you create.Key ResponsibilitiesLeading the creation and development of technology-based processes to support consistent, efficient and accurate reporting.Leading initiatives to consolidate automated solutions and processes and partnering with external specialists to devise and deliver best practices. Identifying and facilitating enhancements to wider business, using data to measure performance and develop automated solutions and processes. Leading initiatives for AI adoption, implementation and governance. Partnering with external specialists to validate and analyse output of data-related implementations. Participating in requirements gathering and feasibility analysis. Participating in new and existing software development projects across the team. Creation and maintenance of clear documentation for: requirements, deliverables and results. Maintain knowledge of the latest developments in data platforms’ capability and best practices.Regular engagement with business stakeholders to provide support, insights and recommendations.Working with internal technical teams and service providers to improve existing processes, as required.Assist with maintaining database and existing front-end application, as required.Your Qualifications & ExperienceDemonstratable experience working in a data analysis and software development role. Demonstratable experience managing SQL databases. Experience with modern data warehousing tools (e.g. Fabric) and ETL processes.Expert with Power BI, including Power Query, DAX and performance optimization. Experience and understanding of wider Power Platform and Microsoft environment (e.g. Power Apps, SharePoint, Power Automate, SharePoint, Excel (including VBA) and O365).Good SQL programming experience, including ability to review and write queries. Excellent written and oral communication skills, including ability to understand and explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.Experience and understanding of APIs and back-end interfacing. Experience and understanding of programing tools and languages (e.g. C#, Python, R, PowerShell).
