    Axcis Education is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to support a Year 2 pupil with additional needs in a welcoming and well-established primary school in Eastville, Bristol. This is a full-time, term-time only role (8:30-3:30, Monday to Friday), offering a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in a child’s educational journey. The School: This is a 'GOOD' rated school with a strong reputation for its inclusive ethos and high staff retention rates. The school has one of the longest-standing senior leadership teams in Bristol, providing excellent support and guidance to staff. They are passionate about outdoor learning, embedding it throughout their curriculum, and run a fantastic Forest School programme, allowing pupils to explore and learn in a natural environment. The Role: •Providing 1:1 support for a Year 2 pupil, helping them engage with learning and reach their full potential. • Using tailored strategies to support emotional regulation, engagement, and social development. • Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals to provide consistent and structured support. • Encouraging independence, confidence, and positive behaviour. • Supporting the child in both classroom and outdoor learning environments, including Forest School activities.
