    Purpose of PositionAwin’s Financial Analytics team sits at the intersection of finance, data and commercial decision-making and is fundamental to shaping the company’s financial future and strategic direction through expert data analysis and financial modelling. We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to take us to the next level, acting as a Product Owner for the company’s suite of financial reporting, KPIs and modelling. Technical proficiency in data, a background in finance, and a commercial mindset are critical for this role. But more than that we need someone who can tell a story with data, who understands what business leaders need to make decisions and has the courage to innovate. Key Responsibilities Own and maintain the squad’s financial reporting and modelling including sales, revenue, opex, personnel, subscription metrics such as ARR and CLV, new business and churn Act as the “first developer”, setting standards, coaching other team members and ensuring the highest quality of deliverables Design and implement dashboards, reports and models that support financial planning, forecasting, and reporting Collaborate closely with other squads across Data Engineering to ingest and model necessary data Manage the squad backlog: refine requirements, prioritize user stories, ensure clarity and alignment with stakeholders Lead sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives Serve as the first point of contact for business stakeholders to capture operational requirements and translate them into development tasks Support Manager in vision / strategy, roadmap planning and leading innovation such as the incorporation of new tools or methods such as AI / ML Skills & Expertise At least five years in Financial or Business Analytics Product Ownership / Squad Leadership experience and knowledge of Accounting / Finance Analytical, pro-active and inquisitive, with a proven ability to take ownership and generate valuable new ideas. Exceptional communication skills the candidate needs to be able to shift seamlessly from talking technical details with engineers to talking strategy with management Bachelor’s Degree in a Finance, Business or Analytics related field Expertise with SQL and Tableau is essential Fluent English Our Offer Flexi-Week and Work-Life Balance: We prioritise your mental health and wellbeing, offering you a flexible four-day Flexi-Week at full pay and with no reduction to your annual holiday allowance.
