• Operating autoclaves and sterilizing glassware and plasticware
• Aseptic aliquoting within Class II MBSC
• Operating automated and semiautomated laboratory equipment
• Calibration of pH meters and balances
• Using digital ordering systems and replenishing consumables
• Supportingglasswashoperations and general laboratory housekeeping
• Monitoring expiry dates and ensuring compliance with GLS,GxPand SHE standardsRequirements
• Willingness to learn and develop
• Experience with aseptic technique or stock management is an advantage
• Customer service experience is required
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
•Previouslaboratory experience and understanding of SHE requirementsWorking Conditions•Labbasedrolelocatedin the basement area of the Discovery Centre in Cambridge
• Manual,handsonwork with regular standing
• Occasional lifting and movement of laboratory materials
