    • Operating autoclaves and sterilizing glassware and plasticware
    • Aseptic aliquoting within Class II MBSC
    • Operating automated and semiautomated laboratory equipment
    • Calibration of pH meters and balances
    • Using digital ordering systems and replenishing consumables
    • Supportingglasswashoperations and general laboratory housekeeping
    • Monitoring expiry dates and ensuring compliance with GLS,GxPand SHE standardsRequirements
    • Willingness to learn and develop
    • Experience with aseptic technique or stock management is an advantage
    • Customer service experience is required
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
    • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office

    About the Role The Research Technician role sits within the Flu Biopharmaceutical Development (Flu‑BPD) group, supporting both the Process Development and Analytical Development teams.These teams are responsible for the development of candidate vaccine virus strains for the seasonal live attenuated influenza vaccine (LAIV).
