About the role The role will report directly into our Chief Commercial Officer and is tailor-made for someone with a strong desire for growth and leadership in a performance marketing environment. You will be challenged daily with new and exciting projects, with creativity, experimentation and growth at the core of everything we do.  As our Marketing Manager, you will not only be exercising your strategic thinking, creativity, and analytical skills, but you will also have the chance to grow and flourish into a broader leadership role. We will support your growth, developing your skills in creating game-changing strategies and using market insights to influence our high-impact campaigns. Equally importantly, you will align with our organisational values, which were defined by our people for our people, clients, learners, and partners. What you’ll do To help us be the best, you will be accountable for: Develop, implement, and manage innovative digital marketing campaigns: Ensuring alignment with Avado's goals through comprehensive marketing strategies. Coordination across different teams, integrating varied promotional activities, and tracking the success of campaigns are crucial aspects of this role. Drive B2C (and B2B) lead generation via performance marketing: Utilise a data-driven approach for lead generation through optimisation of current marketing channels and exploration of novel avenues. This will drive leads, conversions, and expand Avado's online reach. Budget management: Overseeing the performance marketing budget while making informed operational and strategic decisions to ensure cost-effectiveness and maximise ROI. Write exceptional email and landing page copy: Create high-quality content for email marketing campaigns and landing pages to attract prospective clients, thereby increasing conversion rates. Constantly analyse and optimise campaigns for improvement: Continual evaluation and adjustment of campaign strategies based on derived insights and A/B testing of landing pages and email components. Provide evidence-based insights on market trends to inform strategic decisions: Conducting market research to identify industry trends and utilizing that knowledge to inform strategic decision-making. Exploring growth opportunities: This involves taking initiatives to identify and evaluate potential markets, product and technology partnerships for expanding Avado’s footprint. Collaborate with various stakeholders: Liaise with different teams like sales, PR, creative agencies, etc. to ensure the successful implementation of each marketing campaign and alignment with Avado’s broader strategic plan. What we’re looking for Minimum of five years of experience in marketing. Proven track record in managing effective digital marketing campaigns. Excellent command of written English and the ability to produce engaging copy. Extensive knowledge in lead generation and performance marketing. Strong analytical abilities and experience using data-driven insights for decision making. A keen interest in technology and generative AI. The ideal candidate will possess a strong ability to grasp the dynamic digital marketing landscape, utilizing existing and emerging technologies to achieve our marketing objectives.
