The Role As a Laser Cutting Operator, you'll be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining laser cutting and laser marking equipment to produce high-quality components to customer specifications. You'll work from technical drawings and production documentation, ensuring products meet strict quality standards while maintaining efficient production. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate laser cutting and laser marking machinery in line with production schedules. Load and verify programs, materials, and job specifications. Manufacture components to engineering drawings, artwork, and customer requirements. Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to optimise quality and productivity. Carry out first-off and in-process inspections using measuring equipment. Perform quality checks to ensure components meet specification. Read and interpret engineering drawings, work instructions, and production documentation. Identify and report production issues, defects, or non-conformances. Complete production documentation accurately. Carry out routine machine maintenance and cleaning. Support assembly, finishing, packaging, and dispatch activities when required.
