    Client Relationship Manager Position: Full-time or part time / Permanent Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 (depending on experience) Join a forward thinking firm This is a rare opportunity to join an innovative and growing accountancy practice that takes a genuinely proactive approach to supporting owner-managed businesses. Rather than focusing solely on year-end compliance, the firm works alongside clients throughout the year, helping them understand their numbers, improve profitability and achieve their business goals. You'll work closely with the Directors and Management Accounting team, becoming a trusted point of contact for a portfolio of established SME clients. This is a highly consultative, relationship-led position where you'll help business owners stay accountable, identify opportunities for improvement and ensure they receive maximum value from the firm's advisory services. This role would suit someone with strong commercial awareness, exceptional organisational skills and the confidence to build trusted relationships. You do not need to be a qualified accountant, but you should be comfortable interpreting financial information and discussing business performance. Your Role Building long-term relationships with a portfolio of owner-managed business clients. Preparing for and attending regular client meetings alongside one of the firm's Directors. Reviewing management accounts and financial information ahead of meetings to identify key discussion points and business improvement opportunities. Coordinating meeting agendas, actions and follow-up activities to ensure clients remain on track with their objectives. Acting as the primary day-to-day contact for clients between meetings. Working closely with the Management Accounting team to deliver an outstanding client experience. Supporting business owners by helping them understand their financial performance and identifying areas for growth and improved profitability. Providing high levels of organisation and project coordination across multiple client relationships. What you'll need to succeed Excellent relationship-building and client-facing skills. Strong commercial awareness with the ability to understand financial reports and business performance. Highly organised with excellent planning, administration and follow-up skills. Confident communicating with business owners and senior stakeholders. A proactive, consultative approach with a genuine interest in helping businesses succeed. Previous experience within commercial banking, relationship management, business advisory, management accounting, finance business partnering or a similar client-facing role would be highly advantageous.
