  Compliance Officer/Analyst Business Support | Specialist Insurance | £40k–£60k A rare opportunity to join a small, specialist insurance business (circa 20 employees) in a varied role sitting right at the heart of the organisation — working directly with the Head of Compliance and CEO. This isn't a back-office compliance role. You'll be genuinely embedded in how the business runs: compliance monitoring and governance on one side, CEO and business management support on the other. If you like structure, detail, and being the person who keeps things moving, this is built for you. Our client is moving from a private cloud, Windows Server environment to a modern Azure-first setup, and they're only at the pre-planning stage. That means you design it, you build it, you deliver it. Cradle to grave. This is a senior, hands-on technical leadership role in a small IT function. You'll sit as peer to the Head of IT Services, owning infrastructure, cloud, networking, security technologies and integration architecture while they run service management and end-user computing. This is an ideal role for a graduate or someone in their first or second job who wants to build a career in insurance data and operations. What you’ll be doing: Processing and validating bordereaux submissions; identifying data quality issues and resolving them with internal and external stakeholders; maintaining data in our systems; producing MI reports; and supporting month-end close processes. They are looking for a hands-on Head of Data to take ownership of their data function at a pivotal moment in its development. This is a hybrid hands-on / leadership position. You’ll be responsible for the end-to-end data capability — from governance frameworks and quality controls through to the architecture and delivery of our data warehouse and reporting infrastructure. You’ll work closely with an outsourced data warehouse partner and with internal stakeholders across the organisation, acting as the bridge between technical delivery and business need.
