Your responsibilities will encompass every aspect of daily life to ensure their comfort and quality of life. As written by the client I am a very unique, determined, kind, caring and independent young woman who is moving out of home for the first time. I have cerebral palsy, my muscle tone varies depending on my health and emotional state. I am a full-time wheelchair user, which I drive with head switches. I have a background in art, design and photography, which alongside creative visual and technical skills has given me a creative set of problem-solving abilities. My aims for my first year away from home are to settle into a good routine of socialising and finding fulfilling ways to spend my day, such as volunteering and joining clubs. I have very specific needs and so it is important for my PA to be clean, and to be able to follow my directions well, but we will work together and I will help and guide you with how I want things done. I love to socialise with all sorts of different people, as long as I like them! I like to spend time with animals, and am very adventurous, having completed things such as sponsored abseils, skydiving, skiing, sailing, high roller-coasters and many other daring activities. However, I am also a determined and hardworking student, who enjoys studying a subject I am incredibly passionate about.
