This role resides in the Digital Workplace Team, which is part of IT User Experience, and the team is responsible for the administration, configuration, optimisation, and support of Microsoft 365 services, with a strong focus on Microsoft Teams and the Microsoft 365 Admin Centre. This role ensures the secure, reliable, and efficient operation of collaboration and productivity services across the organisation, following best practice governance and compliance standards. The engineer will work closely with security, infrastructure, governance, and support teams to deliver a high-quality user experience and drive adoption of M365 capabilities. This role is critical in enabling strategic projects by handling day-to-day support, escalations, and product management. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing our M365 environment and should have a broad understanding of all technologies under the team's remit, including Microsoft 365, Office Product Suite and related applications. Sitting within the Glasgow Financial Management Team, reporting to the Partnership Tax Team Leader and supported by the UK Tax Manager and UK Tax Advisor. Key responsibilities of the role include: Supervision of the preparation of approximately 185 UK resident partner tax returns, including collation and review of data received from the partners. Approval of DTR claims for UK resident partners. Oversight and responsibility of Composite non-resident partner tax return. Oversight and responsability of tax payments for UK partner liabilities, including split of partnership and personal liabilities. Review responsibility for main international partnership tax computation and associated UK partnership tax return. This is a full-time, permanent role based in our Glasgow office with hybrid working.
