Essential skills and experience
We are seeking an experienced Construction Associate to join our team on a 6 month contract. The successful candidate will provide senior-level transactional support to our real estate and real estate finance teams, as well as advise developer clients on a range of projects.
Key Responsibilities: Lead and support real estate transactions, including acquisitions and disposals, due diligence, and drafting construction-related documents. Advise on real estate finance matters, particularly refinancing and development finance for lender clients, including complex, multi-lender transactions. Draft, review, and negotiate agreements for lease, consultancy appointments, building contracts, and related documentation for development projects. Contribute to special projects, such as Building Safety Act advice and bespoke document drafting.
Key Requirements: Senior-level construction lawyer with extensive real estate experience, ideally from a top-tier law firm. Ability to manage matters and advise clients independently, with minimal supervision. Experience in both transactional and contentious construction work is essential
