About the Role: Our Apprenticeship Account Executive role is pivotal to developing the sales pipeline for ARUs growing portfolio of higher education apprenticeships. Responsibility for generating new business opportunities requires an enthusiastic, motivated team player who is a confident communicator, passionate about career development, helpful and resourceful in solving challenges, and eager to learn. You will represent ARU at internal and external events, and manage timely responses to inbound apprenticeship inquiries, both verbally and by email. You will be joining a high performing and experienced Business Development team who are responsible for the engagement and recruitment to a range of ARUs online and work-based learning courses and the development of innovative skills-focussed higher educational initiatives for external stakeholders. The successful applicant will have a degree or be part qualified in a relevant professional qualification specific to the role, or a minimum of two years work experience in a fast-paced customer-facing business environment, preferably in sales. Communication skills: verbal, written and presenting, are critical to the success of the role. In addition, you will have a go-getting attitude, commitment to customer service, an abundance of enthusiasm and resourcefulness and a strong work and team ethic, capable of managing your own workload with some supervision. You will be required to respond to inquiries from a range of channels following our customer service protocols and response KPIs. You will be proficient in MS Office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams, and be confident using a range of social media tools to promote our apprenticeship activities. As many of our events are off campus, the ability to travel independently is essential, for which travel expenses are reimbursed. On rare occasions, you will be expected to attend events out of usual working hours, including weekends. Find out more about and . At our ARU Writtle campus, we specialise in animal, environmental, agricultural and horticultural courses, for learners aged 16 to 18, adult learners, undergraduate and postgraduate levels. About the Role: Under the leadership of our Head of Equine Resources, we are seeking an individual to support the operation of our busy Equine Resources Department, with a particular focus on horse care and the upkeep of our top-class facilities. You will be confident and competent around horses, working closely with senior yard staff to deliver the highest standards of equine care in line with BHS standards. On a daily basis, you will undertake all general stable duties, including mucking out, feeding, grooming and preparing horses for student practical sessions. You will also be involved in schooling horses, both under saddle and from the ground. The role additionally includes maintaining fencing and grazing land using agricultural machinery, as well as undertaking general maintenance tasks such as weeding, tidying and mowing. You will have either a range of GCSEs at grades AC (or equivalent) or a vocational qualification at NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent). Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-focused approach are essential, along with the ability to work independently and use your own initiative without close supervision. Due to the nature of the role, you must hold a full driving licence and be able to drive non-HGV horseboxes. The ability to drive tractors and trailers is desirable but not essential.
