As a part of the team, you'll be part of a team that works behind the scenes to ensure every masterpiece is treated with the respect and precision it deserves.The Logistics Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Fine Art storage facility, with a strong focus on client experience, booking and coordination, and health & safety compliance. The role acts as the key point of contact for clients, ensuring seamless scheduling of storage, viewings, and movements, while maintaining the highest standards of care, security, and safety for all artworks.Job Requirements 3-5 years' experience in managing or leading teams. High-value Art handling experience and managing client visits to site. Confident communicator with a professional, calm approach. Experience working within a gallery/auction house environment (preferred) Knowledge of fine art tools and equipment. Knowledge of fine art materials and fittings. Forklift Licence - reach and counterbalance (both preferred) Driving Licence H&S Qualification/Training - IOSHH (preferred)Job Responsibilities Lead the day-to-day operation of the warehouse, providing hands-on oversight and leadership across supervisors, technicians, and trainees. Coordinate closely with Operations Manager to plan workflows, allocate resources, and ensure efficient delivery against demand, including out-of-hours requirements. Act as a key interface for both internal stakeholders and clients, professionally managing sensitive, high-value interactions when required. Oversee all Art Central artwork handling processes, including receipt, storage, movement, and dispatch, ensuring accuracy in scanning, labelling, and record-keeping at every stage. Maintain complete and accurate inventory and client records, ensuring all movements and instructions are captured and aligned with invoicing and documentation. Conduct monthly artwork inventory reconciliation. Supervise loading and unloading activities, ensuring best practice handling, and care, of artworks at all times.
