    Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement • Champion innovative thinking and encourage teams to explore new methodologies and technologies. • Initiate, support and drive continuous improvements, cost reductions and productivity enhancements. • Implement Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and increase efficiency. • Monitor KPIs such as OEE, scrap rates, downtime, labour utilisation, and throughput. • Drive optimisation of processes, equipment, and plant layout. • Ensure employees have the best possible working conditions through development of Artifex Health & Safety systems and policies. • Support Lean methodologies. • Work in line with Artifex production systems
    Quality Management • Maintain customer satisfaction and manage escalations or audits from OEMs.
    Maintenance & Asset Management • Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance strategies. • Ensure equipment reliability and availability to minimise downtime. • Manage capital investment projects for new machinery, tooling, and upgrades.
    Supply Chain & Customer Coordination • Coordinate with supply chain teams to ensure materials availability. • Work closely with OEM customers to meet forecasted volumes and respond to changes. • Reduce bottlenecks by optimising inventory, logistics, and scheduling.
    Budgetary responsibilities • Develop budgets and ensure compliance with budgetary requirements in line with corporate, divisional, and governmental directives. • Budget planning (in collaboration with subordinates) for the whole site and all departments. • Presentation and defence of the data to the Executive Board. • Capacity planning (in collaboration with Engineering & Launch)
    Generic Success Measures • Drive performance of the site in relation to key measures for all areas – Quality, Production, Planning, HR, Health & Safety and Maintenance and Launch departments. • Ensure that all site managers are delivering on their objectives and performing at the highest level possible. • Drive and support the CI Roadmap deliverables and ensure that a regular review is held with the key contributors.
    Preferred skills and experience • Degree level education in Engineering or Manufacturing discipline. • Previous experience in a similar role within a high volume and complex automotive manufacturing environment. • Working knowledge of Continuous Improvement tools with demonstrable results. • Experience of leadership and management of a diverse Senior Management Team within a fast paced and challenging environment • Demonstrated ability to empower teams and create a culture of shared ownership. • Knowledge of annual budget preparation for a multifunctional site • Excellent communication skills at all levels • Track record of driving innovation and adopting new technologies to improve site performance. • Excellent presentation skills • Problem solves • Consistent and fair approach • Computer literate with Microsoft packages • Trained to a Green Belt Six Sigma level (Desirable/Optional) • Previous experience within a Finance role (Desirable/Optional)

This will involve working with key functional leads across the business to identify ‘what good looks like' in all of the different disciplines and building that all together into a coherent plan that can be followed by everyone in the business. Main missions and results • Work with all areas of the business to build the work streams for each functional area in support of a designated customer Program, identifying what ‘good looks like' for each team and drawing that out into something that makes sense. • Build all areas into one coherent plan, working most closely with the head of Program Management, Engineering and Manufacturing/Launch to ensure the key needs of the Program are covered. • Identify needed processes, procedures and systems along the way and taking live decisions on which ones need to be actioned as you go, and which ones can be delivered later. • Chair regular sessions with key stakeholders to manage conflicts between areas related to timing, needed outputs, process and system requirements. • Work with HR and training team to develop training programs to ensure that the methodology can be well integrated, easy to follow and becomes part of everyone's daily working life. • Be responsible for enabling lessons learnt and continuous improvement of the Product development methodology. • Work with key system providers to roll the authored methodology into a chosen software system than can integrate into or with the existing or new company systems without adding further complexity into how we manage and deliver programs. • Manage a small team of direct and indirect reports to author the processes and procedures that are identified as part of the methodology creation. Preferred skills and experience • Experience required in authoring or being part of a team who have authored a new product development process/methodology for a technology company, preferably in Automotive. • A degree (or equivalent experience) in Engineering, Manufacturing or Program management. • Must have a good technical (Engineering) and manufacturing understanding in a premium goods industry, preferably automotive. • Must have demonstrable experience (either directly or indirectly) in managing a team of people to achieve a program of work. Main purpose of the job A Service Desk Analyst is the first point of contact for all users within our organisation who require Technical Support, working within defined processes to support timely resolution of user issues. This a critical role in that it is the “face of IT” to everyone from the company CEO to the Operatives on the Production Lines. It is crucial that everyone receives the same level of service and attention. Main missions and results Incident and Request Management • Logging and tracking user issues and requests into the company ITSM (Information Technology Service Management) Tool. • Ensure all incidents and requests are assigned with the correct priority. • Escalation of any issues that are not resolved within agreed SLAs. • Communicate clearly and respectfully with users, providing honest updates on progress and realistic timelines. • Monitoring lifecycle of incidents and requests to ensure successful resolution. • Management of any P1 Incident. • Collaboration with 3rd Party Vendors. Technical Support • Triage and resolve common IT issues with hardware, software and network connectivity (desktops, laptops, printers, operating systems, applications). This could be face-to-face or via Chat, Email, Phone or Remote Desktop. • Ensure users understand next steps by communicating clearly and confirming understanding. User Access Management • Creation, Modification and deletion of user accounts. • Resetting passwords and unlocking accounts (following relevant security procedures). • Understand role‑specific access needs to support new starters effectively. Preferred skills and experience • Extensive experience in automotive manufacturing processes with a focus on the relevant discipline. • Proven ability to lead complex engineering projects and cross-functional teams. • Strong knowledge of APQP, PPAP, SPC, MSA, and process validation techniques. • Expertise in PFMEA development and risk management.
    • Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies. • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. • Degree or equivalent in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering; advanced qualifications desirable. • Auditing experience (ISO/IATF standards) preferred.

    Main missions and results • Is directly accountable for the successful launch (Scope, Time, Cost & Quality) of a programme / project ensuring all agreed / Artifex's company standard metrics are achieved. • Development, approval, reporting and monitoring of the programmes sales pricing & cost, tool investment (TAR & Cash Flow), capital investment (CAR), engineering development and design (PDP) cost status against the standard company metrics or as established at business case sign off & programme / project award. • Ensure all aspects of the programme and project are maintained and developed to meet the minimum quality objective requirements of the programme / project. • Establishment and leadership of the Cross Functional Team(s) (CFT) as required meeting the changing demands of the programme(s) / project(s). • Scheduling and conducting regular CFT meetings to ensure a sufficiently detailed level of communication is maintained. • Monitoring and management of the CFT member's responsibilities relating to GDLS / ProLink, RASIC, key elements and deliverables, including correctly maintaining a central library of programme / project evidence and deliverables within ProLink. • Driving a supportive, inclusive team culture that empowers CFT members to contribute openly and collaboratively. • Primary cross functional interface for the customer(s) and the Artifex CFT(s), in order to define the full scope of the programme(s) / project(s). • Developing and establishing the Customer / Artifex Statement of Work Requirements Assumption documents & agreements for the programme(s) / project(s) with all departmental stakeholders. • Manage, maintain and adapt overall Artifex programme / project timing and budgets in conjunction with the key Artifex department stakeholders & customer(s) in order to manage changes to support a successful launch. Defining all Key Milestones, inc. but not restricted to: Artifex and customer programme / project life cycle introduction timing and sign off; Design freeze, sign off and release; PDP preparation and sign off; Customer and related Artifex build dates; Customer Order requirement dates; TAR, Cash Flow, CAR preparation and sign off; Tooling timing; Make vs Buy preparation and sign off. • Promote transparent communication, ensuring risks, issues and trade‑offs are surfaced early and communicated respectfully. • Manages, maintains and communicates the programme(s) / project(s) status reporting and sign off requirements to support the required programme /project quality including: Monthly programme / project reviews; GDLS Phase Management Gateway Review Fresh Eyes reviews and GDLS Phase Management Gateway Review Sign Off; Monthly Operating Report (MOR); Programme / project timing, financial report & cashflow. • Ensure correct escalation and reporting of programme / project issues in a timely manner. • Actively identifies opportunities to improve programme delivery processes, tools, and cross‑functional ways of working. • Ensure meticulous attention to detail across all programme documentation, evidence packs, and milestone deliverables. • Identify and resolve operational, commercial, and technical problems using structured problem‑solving methods.
    Preferred skills and experience • Bachelor's degree in project and / or Programme Management (preferred), and /or Engineering and/or Business Administration or substantial experience in automotive industry as Programme Manager • Attained a Professional Project / Programme Management accreditation level (IMPA Level C as a minimum, (or equivalent) with a recognised National / International Project Management organisation. • Experience in the automotive industry in programme management within a substantially sized regional or global organisation or extensive experience in automotive industry in project management. • Demonstrable commitment to honest, respectful communication in high‑pressure programme environments. • Track record of taking personal ownership for programme outcomes, not just functional deliverables. • Good working knowledge / understanding industry standards & related procedures. • APQP / PPAP / IATF16949 training or significant experience in automotive industry in project management. • Strong influencing and stakeholder‑alignment skills, able to secure commitment across customer and internal teams. • Adaptability in the location of work including business travel • Flexibility to change priorities in response to changing programme / project demands. • Excel: Intermediate level user, essentially able to create; manipulate & problem solve graphs and pivot tables.     This role is on continental shifts - 2x 07:00-19:00, 2x 19:00-07:00, followed by 4 days off.
    Main missions and results • Maintenance of all electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems on all machinery, robotics, lasers, ancillary, material handling equipment to maintain efficiency and utilisation of 95%. • Assist in implementing and maintaining proactive maintenance systems for PPM and TPM. • Route cause analysis to identify issues and provide 1st time fixes to reduce downtime. • Fault finding and repair on electrical issues and mechanical faults on hydraulics and pneumatics. • Effective and timely response to all breakdowns. • Adhere to all company HSE policies and procedures at all times. • Comply with LOTO procedures at all times. • Recommend improvements to equipment and processes to enhance quality and productivity. • Perform safety checks on all machines. • Perform routine preventative maintenance checks on all production equipment and machinery. • Replace and repair parts on machines such as bearings, filters, wiring, valves, gauges and switches. • Adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments. • Replace electrical parts and equipment as required. • Observe and listen to mechanical devices in operation to locate causes of trouble. • Dismantle machinery to gain access to and remove defective parts. • Inspect used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements. • Repair or replace defective parts. • Lubricate and clean parts as required. • Start machinery to test their performance. • Implement Continuous improvement activities to assist cost down at all times. • Any other projects or tasks assigned to you by management as required. • Shift working and flexibility essential. Preferred skills and experience • NVQ level 3 in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering required. • Must have previous experience working in a high volume, high class, Automotive environment. • Experience of working with injection moulding machines. • Experience in practical mechanical / electrical engineering.
    • Demonstrate effective time management. • Experienced in Robotics. specifically, ABB 6 Axis robot / Fanuc  and PLC Programming. • Knowledge of Quality systems such as IATF16949 / ISO 9000 a distinct advantage. • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels. • Team player- flexible on colleague cover and working outside normal hours. • Prepared to accommodate emergency call out (within reasonable parameters). • Understanding of IATF16949/ISO9001 Quality standards.
