    Artifex Interior Systems is pleased to confirm the below opportunity within our business: Maintenance Engineer
    This role is on continental shifts - 2x 07:00-19:00, 2x 19:00-07:00, followed by 4 days off.
    Main missions and results • Maintenance of all electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems on all machinery, robotics, lasers, ancillary, material handling equipment to maintain efficiency and utilisation of 95%. • Assist in implementing and maintaining proactive maintenance systems for PPM and TPM. • Route cause analysis to identify issues and provide 1st time fixes to reduce downtime. • Fault finding and repair on electrical issues and mechanical faults on hydraulics and pneumatics. • Effective and timely response to all breakdowns. • Adhere to all company HSE policies and procedures at all times. • Comply with LOTO procedures at all times. • Recommend improvements to equipment and processes to enhance quality and productivity. • Perform safety checks on all machines. • Perform routine preventative maintenance checks on all production equipment and machinery. • Replace and repair parts on machines such as bearings, filters, wiring, valves, gauges and switches. • Adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments. • Replace electrical parts and equipment as required. • Observe and listen to mechanical devices in operation to locate causes of trouble. • Dismantle machinery to gain access to and remove defective parts. • Inspect used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements. • Repair or replace defective parts. • Lubricate and clean parts as required. • Start machinery to test their performance. • Implement Continuous improvement activities to assist cost down at all times. • Any other projects or tasks assigned to you by management as required. • Shift working and flexibility essential. Preferred skills and experience • NVQ level 3 in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering required. • Must have previous experience working in a high volume, high class, Automotive environment. • Experience of working with injection moulding machines. • Experience in practical mechanical / electrical engineering.
    • Demonstrate effective time management. • Experienced in Robotics. specifically, ABB 6 Axis robot / Fanuc  and PLC Programming. • Knowledge of Quality systems such as IATF16949 / ISO 9000 a distinct advantage. • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels. • Team player- flexible on colleague cover and working outside normal hours. • Prepared to accommodate emergency call out (within reasonable parameters). • Understanding of IATF16949/ISO9001 Quality standards.     Artifex Interior Systems is pleased to confirm the below opportunity within our business: Programme Coordinator - 6-month FTC Main purpose of the job • A Programme Coordinator will be responsible for the planning; coordination & execution of complex commodity plans as part of a cross functional team. • Liaising with all areas of the business including Engineering, Manufacturing, Finance, Tooling & Quality to collate inputs from each department and ensure plans are accurate and deliverable. • Organise and chair regular cross-functional reviews, both internally and externally, to hold teams accountable for deliverables. • Prepare summaries of complex timing plans and individual critical paths to report to both internal and external stakeholders. • Identify risks with current timing plans and prepare additional proposals to support risk mitigation & re-alignment. • Create and maintain action logs & risk registers. • Support and lead start-up & wash-up meetings to understand what milestones have been achieved / missed. • Contribute to continuous improvement to improve programme reporting accuracy and reduce manual effort. • Support with program cost tracking.
    Main missions and results • Coordinate and support the successful delivery of each programme through well managed timing and delivery plans, from individual tasks through to overall programme delivery. • Plans will outline realistic deliverables agreed upon by each stakeholder, ensuring accuracy and achievability. • Ensuring team members across all functions are aware of the interdependencies between each task and functions and are successful in delivering on them. • Produce easily accessible metrics for senior leadership team to determine programme status. • Identify how the team can improve on their delivery quality and execution.
    Preferred skills and experience • Master or Bachelor within Engineering. • Proven related experience in an automotive or programme delivery role. • Problem solver, team player that is also able to work independently and in stressful circumstances.
    • Detailed experience of Windows Office specifically Excel & Project.

    Artifex Interior Systems is pleased to confirm the below opportunity within our business: Metrology Technician - 3 shift rotation (mornings, afternoons and nights) Main missions and results • Support Laboratory Manager/Lead and report on key measures.  • Perform measurements using CMM machines/Portable Scanning Arm.  • Write/modify CMM/Scanning Arm programs from information packs including part passports, drawings and cad data as required. • Perform measurements using traditional measurement equipment e.g. micrometers, calipers, slips, DTIs etc.  • Perform/participate in Gauge R&R Studies.  • Perform capability studies.  • Perform physical testing using a variety of test equipment.  • Analyse data using statistical techniques.  • Prepare inspection reports.  • Use problem solving techniques to assist in internal & external quality concerns – using multifunctional team support.  • Working knowledge of quality technician role in all areas of the business.  • Support customer sites as required.  • Assistance in the control and maintenance of measuring/testing equipment and gauges.  • Assistance in the control and maintenance of CMM programs in line with customer requirements.  • Perform annual validation in line with schedule.
    Preferred skills and experience Essential  • Metrology experience.  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings / CAD models.  • Ability to work unsupervised, using your own initiative to achieve objectives.  • Ability to make informed decisions based on data and risk evaluation.  • Ability to work as part of a team.  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.  • Good PC skills, including a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint. Desirable  • Previous experience of using LK Camio software to operate CMM.  • Ability to write/modify CMM programs using LK Camio software.  • Ability to write/modify Portable Arm programs using PC-DMIS. • Ability to review data and generate informative reports.
