    Artifex Interior Systems is pleased to confirm the below opportunity within our business: Programme Quality Engineer – Temporary
    We have 1x 6-month FTC and 1x 12-month FTC available. Main purpose of the job: • To ensure robust quality planning and execution across new programmes, supporting APQP deliverables and driving quality excellence from concept through to production. The role focuses on proactive quality assurance, auditing, and accountability across programme phases, ensuring that all deliverables meet customer and internal standards.
    Main missions and results • Supporting APQP milestones and ensuring alignment with customer expectations. • Drive quality requirements through ISIR, capability studies, AAR, etc in support of NPI, APQP & PPAP. • Define & optimise measurement techniques to deliver a stable & capable production process utilising SPC and support DOE activities when required. • Support design reviews and prototype builds. • Develop and maintain Control Plans and support D/PFMEA reviews as appropriate • Prepare, review, and audit PPAP submission packs • Champion the use of APIS IQ software for FMEA management and documentation. • Provide training and guidance to cross-functional teams on programme quality expectations and standards • Lead root cause analysis (e.g., 8D) and containment activities for programme-related quality concerns. • Support production team training in relation to the customer expectations and quality requirements. • Full PPAP pack generation • Successful PSW with customer • Robust manufacturing processes launched with relevant quality measures in place to ensure world class performance and delivery
    Preferred skills and experience • Proven experience in Quality Engineering in Automotive 1st Tier. • Degree, HND, HNC, IQA or equivalent. • Previous plastics and/or complex assembly experience preferred. • Strong expertise in Control Plan & PFMEA development and auditing. • Experience using APIS IQ software for PFMEA and Control plans. • Preferred skills and experience (continued): • Proven track record in preparing and reviewing PPAP documentation and control plans. • Comfortable conducting audits and holding cross-functional teams to account. • Solid understanding of APQP, IATF16949, and ISO9001 standards. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • Strong communication and influencing abilities. • Automotive Tier 1 experience preferred. • Exposure to OEMs such as Jaguar Land Rover is a plus Note: this is not an exhaustive list.     Artifex Interior Systems is pleased to confirm the below opportunity within our business: Metrology Technician - 3 shift rotation (mornings, afternoons and nights) Main missions and results • Support Laboratory Manager/Lead and report on key measures.  • Perform measurements using CMM machines/Portable Scanning Arm.  • Write/modify CMM/Scanning Arm programs from information packs including part passports, drawings and cad data as required. • Perform measurements using traditional measurement equipment e.g. micrometers, calipers, slips, DTIs etc.  • Perform/participate in Gauge R&R Studies.  • Perform capability studies.  • Perform physical testing using a variety of test equipment.  • Analyse data using statistical techniques.  • Prepare inspection reports.  • Use problem solving techniques to assist in internal & external quality concerns – using multifunctional team support.  • Working knowledge of quality technician role in all areas of the business.  • Support customer sites as required.  • Assistance in the control and maintenance of measuring/testing equipment and gauges.  • Assistance in the control and maintenance of CMM programs in line with customer requirements.  • Perform annual validation in line with schedule.
    Preferred skills and experience Essential  • Metrology experience.  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings / CAD models.  • Ability to work unsupervised, using your own initiative to achieve objectives.  • Ability to make informed decisions based on data and risk evaluation.  • Ability to work as part of a team.  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.  • Good PC skills, including a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint. Desirable  • Previous experience of using LK Camio software to operate CMM.  • Ability to write/modify CMM programs using LK Camio software.  • Ability to write/modify Portable Arm programs using PC-DMIS. • Ability to review data and generate informative reports.
