    Artifex Interior Systems is pleased to confirm the below opportunity within our business: Procurement Manager - UK Indirects Main purpose of the job The Indirects Procurement Manager is responsible for leading a team of Buyers and also managing their own portfolio within Indirect Procurement.  The role will be mainly focused on the procurement of indirect goods and services that support manufacturing operations which may include such things as maintenance repair and operations facility, services, equipment and professional services. Artifex Interior Systems is a commercially driven environment, with a particular emphasis on strategic souring, supplier relationship management, effective negotiation, and stakeholder engagement. You will be working closely with plant operations and enabling services to understand and deliver indirect requirements at optimal value. Main missions and results • Strategic sourcing and procurement • Developing and executing sourcing strategies for indirect categories • Negotiate contracts pricing and terms with suppliers to achieve cost savings and value creation • Conduct market analysis and benchmarking to identify opportunities for improvement • Supply management • Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers • Ensure supplier performance, quality and compliance is in line with contractual obligations • Implement supply risk management and sustainability initiatives • Cost optimization • Drive cost reduction projects without compromising on quality and service levels • Analyse spend data and identify opportunities for consolidation and efficiency • Cross functional collaboration • Work in unity with manufacturing engineering finance and other departments to understand requirements • Collaborate with stakeholders in selecting suppliers and managing procurement processes • Demonstrate business behaviours in line with core company values • Compliance and reporting • Ensure adherence to company procurement policies and ethical standards Preferred skills and experience • Degree / MCIPS preferred but not essential. • Ability to promote best practice purchasing techniques. • Experienced in people management and leadership. • Proven commercial success / strong negotiator. • Previous manufacturing / automotive experience in (Indirect or Tooling) required. • Ability to lead negotiations and support teams in the development of negotiations strategies for large and complex projects. • Knowledge and experience of how to create and deliver commodity strategies. • Excellent influencing and interpersonal skills. • Demonstrable commercial success within an Automotive and / or manufacturing environment is desired, but willing to consider all industries with the right competencies gained. • Excellent organisational skills, deadline adherence and exceptional attention to accuracy and detail. • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.     Artifex Interior Systems is pleased to confirm the below opportunity within our business: Maintenance Stores Controller Main purpose of the job • Ensuring timely identification and purchase of maintenance and technical critical spares • Day to day accountability for all stores-based consumables across a multi building site • Day to day accountability for all spares repairs off site • Manage vending machine systems across a multi building site • Ensuring the stores critical spares database is effectively populated and maintained • Booking in/out of equipment as required through the database • Ensure PPE requirements are in place for all employees • Raising orders, booking in and out of all site maintenance and process consumables • Working with M&E suppliers to provide stock for high turnover, low value consumables Main missions and results • Ensure all Health & Safety and housekeeping procedures are adhered to during daily processes • Ensure cost effective management of critical and technical spares with regards to inventory levels vs lead times and risk scoring • Maintain maintenance and process stock levels to support ongoing manufacturing and scheduled maintenance plans • Raise and track purchase orders for all maintenance requirements and maintain records appropriately • Day to day accountability for all stores-based spares and repairs of equipment • A ‘hands on' shop floor/stores role with excellent communication skills • Excellent organisational skills, a strong sense of urgency with the ability to work under pressure • To control budgets and maintenance spend, reduce stock value and reduce spend year on year. • Conduct quarterly stock taking events to ensure stock levels are accurate • To ensure that all accounts are set up with the suppliers to purchase spares or service contract requirements • Support continuous improvement activities throughout the maintenance store.     Artifex Interior Systems is pleased to confirm the below opportunity within our business: Maintenance Technician Working hours for this position with be varied 12-hour shifts, between 3-4 per week, alternating between days and nights (06:00-18:00 / 18:00-06:00). This averages out to 40 hours per week. Main purpose of the job A multi-skilled position working as part of the maintenance team responding to the high demands of the site in terms of general, routine and unplanned maintenance of the plant, equipment and facilities. Rapid response and rectification of problems is critical to ensure that targets are met.
    Main missions and results • Ensure adherence to all Health & Safety procedures. Be proactive in the raising of potential H&S issues and the development of personal safety awareness. • Ensuring all work is carried out in line with company policies and procedures. • Supporting production requirements working on a range of injection moulding machines of varied tonnages, for repairs and problem fault finding. • Adjustments, set-up, maintenance of laser cells, PU cells, assembly and checking automation cells. • Undertake planned service work as requested, supporting the plant start-up and shutdown procedure on a weekend rota. • Installation work and continuous improvement duties around the site is also an important function of this role.
    Preferred skills and experience Essential • City & Guilds 214 Mechanical Engineering / HNC / ONC electrical and mechanical engineering or equivalent. • NVQ 3 Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or equivalent. • Time served apprenticeship within a production / manufacturing environment.• Good mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical knowledge with ability to read diagrams and drawings.
    • Experience of working with automation and assembly equipment.
    • Working knowledge of H&S requirements in an engineering environment.• Able to work to tight timeframes and continue to perform at a high standard under pressure.
    • Self-motivated with a desire for self-improvement.
    • Able to work successfully within a team and under own initiative.
    • Ability to find faults and problem solve. Desirable • 18th Edition Electrical Installations.
    • Overhead crane licence.• 6 and 3 axis robot experience.
    • Working knowledge of Lean Engineering and CI techniques.
    • Working knowledge of Plastic Injection Moulding machinery.
