    Artifex Interior Systems is pleased to confirm the below opportunity within our business: Procurement Manager - UK Indirects Main purpose of the job The Indirects Procurement Manager is responsible for leading a team of Buyers and also managing their own portfolio within Indirect Procurement.  The role will be mainly focused on the procurement of indirect goods and services that support manufacturing operations which may include such things as maintenance repair and operations facility, services, equipment and professional services. Artifex Interior Systems is a commercially driven environment, with a particular emphasis on strategic souring, supplier relationship management, effective negotiation, and stakeholder engagement. You will be working closely with plant operations and enabling services to understand and deliver indirect requirements at optimal value. Main missions and results • Strategic sourcing and procurement • Developing and executing sourcing strategies for indirect categories • Negotiate contracts pricing and terms with suppliers to achieve cost savings and value creation • Conduct market analysis and benchmarking to identify opportunities for improvement • Supply management • Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers • Ensure supplier performance, quality and compliance is in line with contractual obligations • Implement supply risk management and sustainability initiatives • Cost optimization • Drive cost reduction projects without compromising on quality and service levels • Analyse spend data and identify opportunities for consolidation and efficiency • Cross functional collaboration • Work in unity with manufacturing engineering finance and other departments to understand requirements • Collaborate with stakeholders in selecting suppliers and managing procurement processes • Demonstrate business behaviours in line with core company values • Compliance and reporting • Ensure adherence to company procurement policies and ethical standards Preferred skills and experience • Degree / MCIPS preferred but not essential. • Ability to promote best practice purchasing techniques. • Experienced in people management and leadership. • Proven commercial success / strong negotiator. • Previous manufacturing / automotive experience in (Indirect or Tooling) required. • Ability to lead negotiations and support teams in the development of negotiations strategies for large and complex projects. • Knowledge and experience of how to create and deliver commodity strategies. • Excellent influencing and interpersonal skills. • Demonstrable commercial success within an Automotive and / or manufacturing environment is desired, but willing to consider all industries with the right competencies gained. • Excellent organisational skills, deadline adherence and exceptional attention to accuracy and detail. • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. Main purpose of the job A Service Desk Analyst is the first point of contact for all users within our organisation who require Technical Support, working within defined processes to support timely resolution of user issues. This a critical role in that it is the “face of IT” to everyone from the company CEO to the Operatives on the Production Lines. It is crucial that everyone receives the same level of service and attention. Main missions and results Incident and Request Management • Logging and tracking user issues and requests into the company ITSM (Information Technology Service Management) Tool. • Ensure all incidents and requests are assigned with the correct priority. • Escalation of any issues that are not resolved within agreed SLAs. • Communicate clearly and respectfully with users, providing honest updates on progress and realistic timelines. • Monitoring lifecycle of incidents and requests to ensure successful resolution. • Management of any P1 Incident. • Collaboration with 3rd Party Vendors. Technical Support • Triage and resolve common IT issues with hardware, software and network connectivity (desktops, laptops, printers, operating systems, applications). This could be face-to-face or via Chat, Email, Phone or Remote Desktop. • Ensure users understand next steps by communicating clearly and confirming understanding. User Access Management • Creation, Modification and deletion of user accounts. • Resetting passwords and unlocking accounts (following relevant security procedures). • Understand role‑specific access needs to support new starters effectively. New User Onboarding • Collaborate with HR Teams to ensure new users are onboarded effectively. • Configuration of user account access. • Preparation of allocated hardware. • Deployment of allocated hardware to nominated locations. Knowledge Management • Create and update Knowledge Base articles, FAQ's and user troubleshooting guides. This is to enable a level of self-service within our user community. Asset Management • Ensure the assets (Hardware & Software) are managed, maintained, and utilised to maximise the productivity of the business. Change Management • Coordination of IT Change Requests across the IT Estate. • Support the adoption of new technologies and continuously seek ways to improve service delivery. Problem Management • Root cause analysis for IT P1 Incidents. • Management of IT Known Errors and Risks.

Ensure risks are systematically identified, ranked, and mitigated, with clear traceability into concept choices, design actions, and future development plans. • Embed Design for Quality thinking in concept and architecture; chair concept and prototype quality reviews, ensuring Design for Quality (DfQ), Design for Manufacture, and Design for Assembly considerations are embedded before design freeze. • Establish early measurement concepts, test methods, and validation approaches suitable for Advanced Engineering maturity. Guide analytical studies, DOE, and learning loops to characterise technical limits, sensitivities, and potential failure modes. • Maintain visibility of open risks and ensure disciplined closure prior to project handover to Programme Launch team. • Prepare quality inputs for RFQ and nomination reviews • Ensure robust handover to launch and industrialisation teams. Lead the structured transition of quality knowledge, risks, and assumptions into the launch organisation.
    • Ensure D/PFMEA intent, key characteristics, control concepts, and open concerns are clearly documented and understood, enabling uninterrupted progression into APQP and industrialisation. • Develop capability in core quality tools, customer requirements, and best practice Advanced Engineering quality methods. • Capture lessons learned from concept development and Proof of Concept activities. Standardise approaches and feed learning into future Advanced Engineering projects to continuously improve front end quality effectiveness. Preferred skills and experience • Degree/HND/HNC/IQA or equivalent in an engineering discipline desirable. • Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt (or equivalent CI credentials) desirable. • Advanced practitioner of AIAG–VDA FMEA with demonstrable leadership of cross-functional D/PFMEA; APIS IQ power user for FMEA and Control Plan governance. • Deep working knowledge of APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC, DOE, Control Plan creation/auditing, and evidence management. • Solid understanding of IATF 16949 and ISO 9001; internal auditor certification preferred. • Proven Tier-1 automotive quality engineering experience required, leading complex projects (plastics and/or complex assemblies advantageous). • OEM exposure (e.g., Jaguar Land Rover) and confidence interfacing directly with customer quality. • Track record of leading cross-functional teams and influencing without authority; able to interpret customer/business risks and recommend best practice solutions. • Strong programme/project discipline: planning, risk management, gateways, and decision-quality reporting. • Clear, respectful communicator who can simplify complex concepts, negotiate trade-offs, and build consensus across engineering, operations, and suppliers.

Preferred skills and experience • Extensive experience in automotive manufacturing processes with a focus on the relevant discipline. • Proven ability to lead complex engineering projects and cross-functional teams. • Strong knowledge of APQP, PPAP, SPC, MSA, and process validation techniques. • Expertise in PFMEA development and risk management.
    • Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies. • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. • Degree or equivalent in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering; advanced qualifications desirable. • Auditing experience (ISO/IATF standards) preferred.
