This role will play a key part in bringing our vision to life as we enter our peak trading period. Whilst reporting directly to our Store Manager, you’ll play a key part in driving operational efficiency, upholding our brand standards, and delivering outstanding service to every customer.Requirements Open and close the store, ensuring everything is secure and ready for trading each day. Assist in managing daily operations, including stock management and visual merchandising. Deliver exceptional customer service, engaging with customers to enhance their shopping experience. Support the team in achieving sales goals and key performance indicators. Help with training and mentoring new team members. Act as a point of contact for shift-related issues in the absence of management. Always maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the store. Essential Experience and Skills Previous experience in a retail environment, preferably in a supervisory or keyholder role. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. A keen interest in fashion and retail. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Proactive attitude and ability to work independently. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. They will lead by example on the shop floor and support teammates with coaching and feedback.  Please note, this role is a six-month fixed-term contract, with an anticipated start date late October 2025. Due to the nature of this role and our pop up being open over peak (Black Friday and the Christmas Period) working hours may vary. Analyse sales performance and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement. Maintain store merchandising standards, ensuring compliance with brand guidelines. Handle inventory management, including stock replenishment and inventory audits. Assist in implementing promotional plans and marketing initiatives within the store. Ensure that the store environment is clean, safe, and welcoming for customers. Act as a role model for customer service and commitment to the ARNE brand values. Manage the store in the absence of the Store Manager. Essential Experience and Skills Previous experience in a retail management or supervisory role. Strong leadership skills and ability to inspire a team. Excellent customer service skills with a passion for retail. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data. Good understanding of merchandising standards and visual presentation. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed. Ensuring deliveries meet the standard set out by the tech team both technically and aesthetically in line with the approved shipment sample: Measure and inspect garments against shipment sample. Update Excel workbook and keep a detailed record of defects and faults. Including photos, measurements and comments. Liaise with technical team regarding rejections. Must be commercially aware of timelines and the requirement to resolve issues ASAP when stock is on hold. Ensure shipment tracker/performance tracker, critical path and all ARNE spread sheets are kept up to date. Issue non-conformance reports to suppliers in a timely manner and provide a clear outcome. Support QC team leader to manage QC quarantine stock and follow up. Liaise with tech team with any issues, prioritise workloads, delegate tasks to the rest of the QC team & general duties.
