You will be responsible for contributing to the provision of a quality food service within the Mess.

To be eligible for this role, due to the sector requirements: you must have been a UK resident for the past 3 years and have legal right to work in the UK and be able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks. What we offer:This is a part-time role, working 8 hours/week, primarily from 6:30pm to 8:30pm, Monday to Thursday. While the core schedule is consistent, there may occasionally be a need to support events outside of these hours. We also offer apprenticeship schemes, so that your learning journey can continue.A day in the life of a Steward:Serving food and bar snack items to customers.Cash handling and till operation.General housekeeping, including cleaning Dining room and resetting, and ensuring all public areas are kept clean and tidy.Report to line manager for any feedback, complaints, suggestions, stock needs, breakages, faults, or hazards identified during your shift.Duties may be changed to meet the changing needs and requirements of the company.You will be set up for success if you have:Been resident in the UK for the past 3 years and have the legal right to work in the UK.Can pass full security vetting and DBS checks.Similar work experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
