Overview: APT Search is representing a leading global law firm on the search for a Junior eDiscovery Analyst to join their established in-house eDiscovery team in Manchester. The team works on complex, high-profile matters of national and international significance, and this role is a genuine entry point into the industry. It suits either a graduate from a technical discipline with strong aptitude, a digital forensic professional or someone with early eDiscovery experience looking to develop within a fast-paced law firm environment. Responsibilities of this Junior eDiscovery Analyst: Deliver consultative eDiscovery support to clients and provide project support across multiple concurrent matters of varying complexity, scale, and geographic scope. Ensure the successful delivery of eDiscovery services, including data preservation, collection, and processing. Provide technical support to clients, including troubleshooting issues and developing effective solutions. Perform advanced searches across large electronic data sets to support investigations and reviews. Identify opportunities to optimise data sets and reduce data volumes. Implement and manage AI-enabled workflows to support document review and analysis. Conduct review quality control checks to ensure accuracy and consistency. Identify and apply a range of legal technology solutions to address client challenges and improve processes. Requirements of this Junior eDiscovery Analyst: A degree in a technical discipline such as Digital Forensics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field, or a legal/legal technology background with an interest in technology and data. Well-developed analytical skills with the ability to work with large volumes of data and identify patterns or inconsistencies. A genuine interest in technology and data. High attention to detail and the ability to work accurately in a fast-paced, process-driven environment. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload effectively. Clear written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
