As the HSEQ Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving health and safety excellence across IFM operations. You will ensure full compliance with legislative requirements while championing a culture of continuous improvement in Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental management. Through the development and implementation of innovative policies and best practices, you will position the business as a leader in Health and Safety management, setting benchmarks for industry standards.
The HSEQ Manager role is a pro-active and visible role requiring excellent internal and external customer relationship, commercial, supplier management and people skills, with the ability to influence, train and support staff, at all levels within the organisation.
This role will require travel to client sites across the UK.
Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the organisation’s HSEQ strategy and compliance programmes Maintain and develop ISO 9001, 14001 and 18001 management systems Manage internal and external audits, compliance reviews and supplier assessments Lead accident and incident investigations, including RIDDOR reporting Provide expert HSEQ advice and guidance to senior management and operational teams Drive behavioural safety and continuous improvement initiatives Oversee HSEQ training, inductions and group campaigns Manage compliance registers, audit plans and performance reporting Support business development activity including PQQs and tenders Provide CDM advice and ensure effective risk management across contracts Essential Requirements for the HSEQ Manager include: NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) Chartered Membership of IOSH, IIRSM (or working towards) Strong working knowledge of CDM legislation Proven experience in incident investigation, audits and risk management Experience maintaining HSEQ management systems Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong analytical, reporting and decision-making ability Confident influencing stakeholders at all levels Strong IT skills (MS Office) Effective planning, organisational and project management skills Valid UK Driving license with access to your own personal vehicle Desirable Lead Auditor qualification Environmental qualification ISO/OHSAS Auditor certification Fire Safety qualification Experience managing teams and contractor management We’ll make sure that you have everything you need to do a great job. You will already have experience gained in a similar role. You will work 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 0830 – 1700, however you will need to be flexible to ensure service delivery at the highest level.
