    Role Overview:
    Our client is seeking a Delivery Buyer for their site in Gaydon. You will be responsible for delivering effective regional and local sourcing in line with Supply Chain Policy (SCP), ensuring compliance with global sourcing processes and alignment with category strategies. The position will manage exception-based sourcing and purchasing activity where operational buying support is not feasible, while maintaining strong supplier relationships and mitigating supply chain risk.
    Key Responsibilities of the Delivery Buyer: Supporting strategic sourcing activity in line with the Category Strategy Plan, providing local market insight and intelligence as required.Managing all regional and local sourcing in accordance with the Supply Chain Policy (SCP).Implementing relevant global contracts negotiated by Strategic BuyersLeading contract management and supplier relationship management for contracts established at both global and regional levels Managing exception-based regional and local one-off sourcing and order placement where this cannot be delivered by the Operational Buying team ( due to language, cultural or local market factors).Escalating significant contractual issues and risks to the Strategic Buyer as appropriate.
