Starting your journey: As Head of Marketing and Brand Communications you will lead this function for Apex Hotels and its sub-brands, setting overall strategy and brand direction to drive awareness, consideration and profitable revenue across rooms, MICE, groups, events, spa, leisure and F&B. Working as part of the Senior Commercial team, the role provides strategic leadership to the marketing function and partners closely with Sales, Revenue, Operations and P&C to deliver integrated plans that support commercial objectives and bring the Apex brand to life at every guest touchpoint. Your main responsibilities will include:  Provide marketing leadership for key commercial initiatives, leading multiple concurrent marketing and brand projects with clear scopes, timelines and delivery against agreed objectives. Act as brand custodian, safeguarding visual identity, tone of voice and messaging across all guest-facing and colleague-facing touchpoints. Oversee development and implementation of cluster and hotel-level marketing plans and annual multi-channel communications calendars, ensuring activity is insight-led, on-brand and integrated across owned, on-property and third-party channels. Oversee delivery of key areas of digital marketing across the portfolio to increase digital visibility and direct bookings. Oversee PR, media relations and influencer activity to secure high-quality coverage and protect the company’s reputation. Lead, coach and develop the marketing team, setting clear objectives, giving regular feedback, managing and mentoring junior marketers and fostering a high-performance, supportive culture. About You: To suceed in this role, you will have Proven senior marketing leadership experience, ideally within hospitality, travel or multi-site consumer brands. Strong strategic thinking and planning skills. Demonstrable experience leading integrated campaigns across digital and offline channels, with a strong understanding of performance marketing, social media and content.
