  Were now looking for an Education Candidate Manager to join our growing team in Watford. Youll play a crucial role in sourcing top teaching talent, ensuring compliance, and supporting schools with high-quality staffing solutions.

  
  

  What Youll Be Doing

  As our Education Candidate Manager, you'll be at the heart of our recruitment process helping candidates find their perfect role while maintaining the highest safeguarding standards.

  
  

  Candidate Management

  • Source and build relationships with teachers, teaching assistants, and support staff
  • Manage the full recruitment cycle, from CV screening to onboarding
  • Match candidates with roles that align with their skills and goals
  • Support consultants in meeting regional and long-term staffing needs

  Compliance & Safeguarding

  • Ensure all recruitment aligns with REC regulations and Apex Educ8 policies
  • Manage candidate documentation and pre-employment checks
  • Identify compliance risks and proactively resolve them
  • Provide guidance to candidates throughout the vetting process

  Administrative Support

  • Keep candidate records accurate and up to date
  • Coordinate interviews, placements, and onboarding
  • Maintain active candidate pipelines to meet school demand

  What Were Looking For

  • Have experience in compliance, recruitment, or admin (1+ year preferred)
  • Are highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Communicate clearly and confidently with people at all levels
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Are passionate about education and helping others succeed
  • Are curious, adaptable, and eager to grow professionally

  Preferred Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree (preferred but not essential)
  • Experience working in or with education recruitment is a bonus
