    Job Description Based at Rosehill Resource Centre. This job is workstyle 1 - Fixed In this workstyle most of your time is spent undertaking the direct delivery of front-line services work. Depending on your role there may be a limited requirement to access a specific council location during the course of the working week if you are not delivering your service at a council location. You will work as part of a team to support and enable adults with learning disabilities, including people with complex disabilities. You will be required to support individuals with personal care and also support for eating and drinking while promoting dignity, independence and wellbeing. You will also be required to support service users with various activities which have been identified through assessed need such as rebound therapy, adapted bikes, hydro-therapy, swimming as well as attend community groups and in-house activities. We are looking for workers with resilience who have the right personal skills and experience to support our residents. You will provide a service for older adults with varying needs, including physical disabilities and dementia. Duties include ongoing assessment and review of service users’ needs, assisting with daily living tasks, participation in social and recreational activities and responding to emergency situations. You should have excellent communication skills and have the ability to assess a situation and take appropriate action. Ideally, you will have an SCQF Level 7 in Social Services and Healthcare (or equivalent) or be willing to undertake and achieve within an agreed timescale. You will work 30 hours per week. Our services run 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and the working pattern supports this. You are asked to carry out waking night duties for which an allowance is payable.
