Role Overview
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Associate or Senior Associate (3–5 PQE+) to join a nationally recognised employment team within a leading UK law firm specialising in the health, social care, life sciences and third sector markets.
Based in the firm’s London office, you will advise on a broad mix of contentious and non-contentious employment matters for a diverse client base that includes providers, commissioners, regulators and policy makers. The role offers exposure to complex, high-profile work, including advising on workforce issues linked to innovative healthcare delivery models, organisational change, and emerging technologies within the sector.
You will work as part of a collaborative national practice, gaining access to high-quality work while developing your own experience and profile within a supportive and well-established team. Candidate Profile/Experience needed
The successful candidate will be a qualified solicitor with ideally 3–5 years’ PQE (applications outside this range will be considered on merit) and a strong grounding in employment law.
You will demonstrate: Solid experience handling employment tribunal claims and managing contentious matters autonomously
Confidence running ET litigation files day-to-day, alongside advising on non-contentious advisory work
An interest in, or experience advising, health, social care, public sector or third sector clients (sector experience advantageous but not essential)
The ability to supervise and mentor junior lawyers, trainees and apprentices, delegating effectively while supporting their development
Strong client relationship, business development and marketing skills, with enthusiasm to contribute to the continued growth of the practice
A pragmatic, solutions-focused approach and the ability to deliver clear, commercial advice in a fast-moving environment What’s on offer? Salary £70,000–£85,000 depending on experience
