We’re looking for a Sr Product Manager – Technical (Sr PM‑T) to build the future of the Tax Services Entity Management product charter. As a Sr PM‑T, you will identify and execute high‑impact solutions and features that meet customer needs and drive business growth. We seek a dynamic, entrepreneurial product manager passionate about solving complex, ambiguous problems, thriving in a fast‑paced environment. This role has high visibility, requiring clear and compelling communication at all company levels. You will measure business impact by diving deep into metrics, tying inputs to outcomes, and working backwards from customers. A proven track record of bringing clarity, simplifying, prototyping, and iterating fast is essential. Key Responsibilities Influence the development and execution of high‑quality feature roadmaps based on overall product strategy and vision. Understand and explain the impact of product features on the strategic value, usability and performance of the Entity Management product. Make prioritization and trade‑off decisions among customer experience, scope and time to market. Manage product planning and development through day‑to‑day collaboration and decision making with cross‑functional teams including engineers, designers and business development partners. Develop detailed, crisp user stories with acceptance criteria based on customer needs and business requirements that can be used to create product specifications and architecture. Define and analyze metrics that measure and benchmark product success. A Day in the Life As a Sr PM‑T, your day blends meetings and heads‑down time for strategy and roadmap planning, and tactical execution. You will meet with customers and peers across product, engineering, UX, tax and legal to understand their needs and identify feature needs for the Entity Management product. You’ll develop functional product and user‑experience requirements for new features and processes to meet our customer needs. You will own the end‑to‑end roadmap for discrete product features from requirement gathering through implementation, working across teams to break down silos and drive delivery. Partnering closely with the Tax Services engineering team, you will drive technology design outcomes that are scalable to support Amazon’s business and compliance needs. Your work directly impacts the future portfolio of product for the Tax Services organization. Basic Qualifications Experience owning or driving roadmap strategy and definition. Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product. Experience representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive‑level prioritisation and planning. Experience in technical product management, program management or engineering. Experience owning feature delivery and trade‑offs of a product. Experience with end‑to‑end product delivery. Preferred Qualifications Experience using analytical tools such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight. Experience building and driving adoption of new tools. Master’s degree in a technical field. There are lots of opportunities for progression, both within the RME team and more widely across Amazon. Everything we do focuses on reducing downtime in Amazons crucial operations sites, so customers get their orders on time. We often work during early or late hours to carry out maintenance with minimal disruption, including night shifts.
