The Town Council is seeking a part-time Finance Manager who will manage the finances for the Town Council and Alsager Institute:
- Lead the annual budget setting process.
- Ensure finance records are maintained in accordance with financial regulations.
- Produce regular budget monitoring for Council, Committees and Trustees.
- Provide financial management information and input for the Management Team.
- Produce year-end financial statements and support subsequent audits and independent examinations.
- Manage the staff within the Finance Department, and
- Identify and apply for appropriate external funding.
The role is part-time, working 24 hours per week from a Monday to Thursday, based within the Town Council offices in Alsager. The actual salary is £25,054 to £26,926.
