This is a full-time, permanent opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute to the design and delivery of major development projects. The team consists of highly skilled civil and structural engineers with extensive experience in the assessment, design, and construction of infrastructure schemes across a range of sectors.
    In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead and deliver innovative infrastructure designs across a range of exciting development projects. You will play a key role in guiding projects from concept through to completion, ensuring high-quality solutions are delivered efficiently and within budget. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, you will help shape engineering strategies and ensure they are successfully implemented throughout the project lifecycle.

    We are looking for a candidate with strong technical expertise in civil infrastructure design, particularly in highway design, ground modelling, drainage design and hydraulic modelling, including sustainable drainage systems (SuDS). Experience with external works levels design, including Part M compliance, would be advantageous.
    You should also feel confident using industry software such as AutoCAD, PDS or XP Site 3D (or similar), and MicroDrainage WinDES/Flow (or equivalent), alongside Microsoft Office tools.     You'll need to hold an HNC or degree level qualification in Chemistry or a similar related field, with solid experience in the hazardous waste sector. With a good working knowledge of hazardous waste regulations, the Health & Work Act 1974 and The Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999, you'll have experience of working to HSG51 and HSG71. An excellent communicator, you'll have good organisational skills and enjoy working collaboratively with colleagues but also be comfortable working on your own, using your own initiative.
    You will need to hold a FLT Licence for this role.
