The Role As an Intermediate Mechanical Engineer, you will support the delivery of mechanical building services designs across a diverse range of projects, working closely with senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams. You will be involved in projects from concept through to detailed design and construction stages, contributing to the delivery of innovative, energy-efficient and sustainable solutions. Typical responsibilities will include: Producing mechanical designs for heating, ventilation, air conditioning and domestic water services. Undertaking design calculations and technical assessments. Preparing specifications, reports and technical documentation. Coordinating with electrical, BIM and sustainability teams. Attending client, design team and site meetings. Supporting the delivery of projects across healthcare, commercial, residential, education and public sector developments. Assisting with low-carbon and net-zero design strategies. About You You will ideally have: A degree or HNC/HND in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering. Experience designing HVAC and mechanical building services systems. Knowledge of industry software such as Hevacomp, IES, Revit or AutoCAD. Strong communication and teamwork skills. A desire to progress professionally towards Chartership. Why Join?
