    As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in delivering commercial support across projects, working closely with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

    Key Responsibilities:
    CollaborationWork closely with project leadership, project managers, contractors, and internal teams to maintain strong working relationships and support project delivery.
    Cost ManagementMonitor and control project costs to ensure delivery within approved budgets.Validate and manage contractor and supplier applications, payments, and cost submissions.
    ReportingProduce regular financial and commercial reports.Provide updates on project financial performance, forecasts, and commercial risks.
    ProcurementSupport or lead procurement activities, including contractor evaluation and appointment.
    Contract AdministrationAdminister contracts in accordance with agreed terms and conditions.Manage contract changes, reviewing validity and quotations while ensuring timely submissions and agreement.Work closely with project managers to maintain accurate and comprehensive commercial records.
    Risk & Value ManagementIdentify and manage commercial risks throughout the project lifecycle.Support value engineering initiatives to optimise project performance and outcomes.
    Candidate Requirements:BSc in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
    Experience undertaking both pre and post contract quantity surveying duties.
    Experience working with NEC4, FIDIC, or IChemE contracts.
    Understanding of industry methods of measurement (CESMM4 / MMHW).
    Experience delivering civil infrastructure projects (highways, water, or rail experience is desirable but not essential).
    Working towards Chartered status with RICS or another recognised professional body.
