A growing civil and environmental consultancy is seeking a CAD Technician to join their highways and infrastructure team. With a strong pipeline of local authority projects, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality designs across highways, public realm, and urban infrastructure schemes.
About the Role
Working closely with engineers, you'll:
Prepare plans and technical drawings from concept through to detailed designDevelop 3D models for highways surfaces and earthworksProduce drainage details, including SuDS elementsExtract and analyse quantities to support design deliveryEnsure drawings meet relevant highway standards (S278/S38)Contribute to the development of design templates and quality standardsWhat We're Looking For
Minimum 3 years' experience as a CAD TechnicianStrong proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D (essential)Highways design experience, ideally with S278 and S38 schemesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work across multiple projects and collaborate with engineers, councils, and stakeholdersEnthusiasm and attention to detailWhat's on Offer?
