Job Description Overall Purpose of the Role: This post is located within the Trust’s national team. The post has been created to support those responsible for attendance in our academies to rapidly improve it, creating safe environments which ensure learners thrive, and those at risk of poor attendance are supported effectively to attend school, feel seen, heard and valued. The post combines a general responsibility for attendance at all schools with a focused prioritisation of two schools at any time where extra time is given to set up and drive strong attendance practice. Be prepared to travel nationally Essential Criteria Maths and English GCSE at 4 or higher Educated to Level 3 with the equivalent of 3 A levels Evidence over time of a commitment to ongoing learning and training in specialist areas linked to this JD Working with young people, including the most vulnerable, those with ACEs and barriers preventing their ability to thrive Experience as an Attendance Manager/leader in a school or local authority setting Experience as an EWO in a school or local authority setting Proven impact in previous roles which has resulted in high levels of attendance over a sustained period of time. We are seeking a dedicated, resilient and highly organised Reflection Room Supervisor to play a key role in maintaining our positive behaviour culture. This is an important position, responsible for overseeing the daily operation of the Reflection Room, providing students with a calm and purposeful environment where they can continue learning while reflecting on their behaviour. You will supervise students who have been removed from lessons or are completing an internal suspension, ensuring they remain engaged with their learning, meet the academy's expectations, and are supported to successfully return to the classroom. You will work closely with teachers, Behaviour Leads, parents and senior leaders to coordinate work, maintain accurate records, and support effective behaviour interventions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who remains calm under pressure, builds positive relationships with young people, and is committed to maintaining high expectations while helping students make positive choices.
