The firm is known for its strong team culture, flexible working approach and commitment to training and development.Key ResponsibilitiesDocument Production & AdministrationCopy and audio typing of legal documentationTranscribing, formatting and proof-reading documentsConverting PDFs into Word and applying house styleManaging dictation workflowsOrganising printing, scanning and photocopyingDrafting correspondence to clients, HMRC, HMLR and other solicitorsFile & Matter ManagementOpening and closing files, including client due diligence and electronic searchesCompiling and indexing sales packsPreparing lease and deed summariesScheduling deeds and arranging retrieval from storagePreparing basic reports on title and replies to standard enquiriesLand Registry & Post-CompletionPreparing and submitting Land Registry applicationsDrafting standard forms (e.g. AP1, TR1)Responding to requisitionsRequesting office copies, searches and map enquiriesDrafting notices of transfer/charge and deeds of covenantManaging post-completion formalitiesFinancial & Billing SupportPreparing invoices and payment requests (BACS/TT)Checking ledgers and verifying bank detailsMonitoring incoming payments and processing electronic payment requestsSupporting credit control with overdue remindersProducing financial reports on file closureClient & Team SupportHandling telephone and email enquiries professionallyLiaising with lenders, local authorities and third partiesDiary management, meeting coordination and video conferencing arrangementsProviding ad hoc administrative support to fee earners and other departmentsSystems & TechnologyRegular use of legal and business systems including document management, case management, digital dictation, e-signature platforms and standard Microsoft Office applications.Key Skills & ExperiencePrevious Legal Secretary experience within a property or commercial real estate teamStrong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise in a deadline-driven environmentExcellent attention to detail and document accuracyConfident user of Microsoft Office and legal document systemsKnowledge of Land Registry processes and post-completion workProfessional communication skills, both written and verbalProactive, adaptable and team-oriented approachFor more information please apply directly.
