And this is where you come in.We’re now looking for Cyber Security Analyst to join our team and help us deliver great results for our clients.The RoleAs a Cyber Security Analyst, you will support the delivery of Air IT’s security services to our clients.You will protect customers’ IT infrastructure from cyber security threats using a variety of tools and systems.Keeping up to date with the latest technology developments within the industry, you will work on projects to ensure client requirements and deadlines are met, and that systems have the correct security controls applied.Duties and Responsibilities:Triage and investigate alerts from security systems such as SIEM and EDRCollaborate with both internal and external security teams to conduct cyber threat detection and incident handlingProvide timely and accurate communications to customers and other stakeholders on cyber threats and incidentsKeep accurate records of all work carried out on the internal case management systemConduct investigations and security audits on a variety of software and cloud systemsCarry out security assessments for clients once qualified such as Cyber Essentials assessments and vulnerability assessments.Analyse data from multiple sources to identify anomaly and security threatsManage the creation, maintenance and delivery of cyber security awareness training and phishing campaignsSupport customers and colleagues with knowledge and skillset in the area of cyber security where neededAbout YouTo join us as a Cyber Security Analyst, you will need:Essential:Prior experience working as Security Operation Centre analyst or similar capacityA keen interest in the field of cyber security; evidence or examples of this will be viewed favourablyKnowledge or hands-on experience working with common IT systems or cloud services such as Windows operating systems, Active Directory, Microsoft Azure and Entra IDFamiliarity with common IT topics such as networking and virtualisationWorking knowledge of common network devices such as firewalls and switches along with security sensitive configurationsAbility to work in a logical and methodical manner, especially when under pressureAble to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical audiences of various levels both verbally and in written formGSCE Maths and English or equivalentCommutable to an Air IT Office when required inline with our Hybrid working policy.Desirable:Prior industry experience or relevant training/relevant degreeIndustry related certifications in Cyber Security.Knowledge and experience of Cyber Essentials Accreditation, or other information security standards.Experience in offensive security such as CTF or bug bountyExperience with vulnerability scannersExperience in conducting security training or phishing simulationsWhat’s In It for You?
