    Principle accountabilitiesCommitted to promoting a security culture of vigilance and security awareness through adhering to the security policy, Managing Responsibly System (MRS) and Security Management System (SeMS).Deal with emergency situations in accordance with specified regulations/procedures in order to save life and protect property.Respond to airport medical emergencies and accidents e.g. road traffic accidents, fires, chemical incidents, and special service call, both on and off the airport.Maintain effective working relationships with internal and external bodies to ensure an effective integrated response to emergency situations and promote a professional image of Southampton Airport.Maintain required level of technical competencies as specified by the regulator in order to uphold the airport licence.Promote safe working practices to ensure that self, colleagues, and customers are not put at risk, and that health, safety and the environment are given the highest priority at all times.Be responsible for personal and team compliance with Company Health and Safety Policies, ensuring safe working practices to minimise risk to self, work colleagues, customers and staff is minimised.To ensure that the activities required by the safety, security and environmental/sustainable development management systems are delivered throughout the areas of responsibility of this role.Comply with all legal and statutory obligations applicable to this role.Ensure that any systems and procedures introduced by the Company are effectively implemented and adhered to.Carry out Wildlife Hazard Management duties ensuring compliance with UK (EU Regulations) 139/2014 regulations providing continuous bird control during licencing hours.Maintain equipment for operational readiness to specified standards in order to meet internal and external audit requirements.To carry out any other duties that may be outside the standard remit for the purpose of personal development, or as may be reasonably required by the company.
    Qualifications and experience
    Fire fighter -A valid certificate of competence in the role of Airport Fire Fighter is essential.
    Trainee Fire fighter - Training will be given for individuals that do not hold a valid certificate.Entry Qualifications:
    Essential:Current UK Driving LicenceMeets and maintains Southampton Airport medical standards.Meets and maintains Southampton Airport physical assessment standardsDesirable:First Aid (essential after initial training)LGV (Class C) LicenceFire arms licence (essential after initial training)

IT Infrastructure & Continuity Manager is responsible for managing and maintaining AGS IT infrastructure and continuity services aligned to internal standards and business requirements through Infrastructure Integrity & AvailabilityLead Continuity & Disaster Recovery AssuranceGovern Infrastructure Supplier PerformanceCollaborate on Architecture & Continuous ImprovementPrinciple and reporting, tracking actions to conclusion.Manage backup system checks (both the inhouse solution and via the outsourced providers) to ensure availability and integrity.Maintain a comprehensive,     Job DescriptionThe nature of the business requires a flexible working approach in this busy 24/7 all year-round operation. This includes weekend and night shift work on a planned shift roster.In this role you will be responsible for the delivery of a high quality, reliable service to passengers, tenants and other internal/external customers, through effective and efficient maintenance of airport assets, minimising its down time and maximising assets life cycles while being able to deal with breakdowns and emergency works as they occur.The role includes a wide variety of planned and reactive maintenance tasks including portable appliance testing, L8 compliance, joinery, painting and decorating, plumbing and civils repairs.Assisting other trades where required and sharing your own knowledge with the team.To enable the delivery of a high quality, reliable service to passengers, tenants and other internal / external customers, through effective and efficient maintenance of airport assets. This includes completion of work in accordance with prevailing Aberdeen International Airport processes & contributing towards the continuous improvement of the maintenance service.
    Principle accountabilitiesUndertake planned or reactive maintenance work on airport assets ensuring optimum serviceability which meets agreed service levels and provides a trouble free operational environment, applying the skills and knowledge required for the task. This includes inspecting assets which are not working as needed, assessing & reporting what work is required and undertaking that work.Undertake maintenance tasks including joinery, painting and decorating, minor plumbing and civils repairs safely up to the level of competence for which you have been trained.Utilise CMMSs (e.g. MRI Concept) to receive, complete & close down work orders entering accurate data for resources employed including all labour and materials.Ensure all maintenance and engineering task records are updated in accordance with the regulatory commitments of and on behalf of Aberdeen International AirportOperate and promote working practices which ensure a safe working environment for self and others, contributing to the development of a safety culture and adhering to mandatory regulations & safety proceduresEngage proactively in Continuous Improvement programmes associated with delivering improvements to customer service, safety, quality and cost reduction for Aberdeen Airport.Communicate effectively with customers and maintenance team colleagues on the progress of completing and completed work.Work with others, including colleagues or trainees on a one to one basis to enable a broadening of the skill and knowledge base of the whole workforce to deliver the best possible customer service.Proactively upgrade skills to facilitate the maintenance and operation of new assets being delivered into service to ensure that they are maintained in a manner which keeps them performing at an appropriate level.Participate in task risk assessments and utilise them and method statements in the completion of all maintenance tasks ensuring that the work is undertaken safely and meets the required specification
    Qualifications and experienceCompleted a recognised building trade apprenticeship.Relevant experience in a multi disciplined maintenance environment.Basic knowledge of joinery, painting and decorating, civils and plumbing. (desirable).
