Continuity Manager is responsible for managing and maintaining AGS IT infrastructure and continuity services aligned to internal standards and business requirements through ensuring the integrity and availability of core infrastructure components such as data centres, network and communications systems, and IT service continuity capabilities.The role additionally covers interfaces with airport operational technology (OT) and mission-critical systems (e.g., AODB, FIDS, CUPPS/CUSS, BHS/SCADA, access control, CCTV/VMS & Radio), with a focus on safety, resilience and passenger experience.The role holder will work collaboratively with both the AGS Cyber Security function to ensure embedded infrastructure remains secure and audit ready against an evolving threat landscape, as well as feed in via the AGS IT Solutions Architect to inform long term capital investment plans and identifying areas in need of improvement.Key responsibilities are:Maintain Infrastructure Integrity & AvailabilityLead Continuity & Disaster Recovery AssuranceGovern Infrastructure Supplier PerformanceCollaborate on Architecture & Continuous ImprovementPrinciple accountabilitiesInfrastructure Operations, Integrity & ResilienceMaintain high availability and integrity of AGS infrastructure (data centres, networks, communications, compute/storage) through effective operations, change and lifecycle management;Maintain high levels of performance and uptime for IT Infrastructure.Support IT operations through the maintenance and oversight of infrastructure integrity.Own the IT asset registry and inform obsolescence mitigation plans.Act as an escalation point for the Operations & Cyber teams on matters related patch and vulnerability management aligned to agreed SLAsLead P1/P2 infrastructure incident response, post incident reviews and root cause eradicationEnsure infrastructure and systems changes are secure by design, with ongoing oversight.Evaluate risk in the execution of infrastructure change and maintenance activities & represent Infrastructure at CAB.Deliver infrastructure implementation requirements as directed by the Solutions Architect or Director of IT Infrastructure.Identify estate areas requiring improvement and make recommendations to the IT Infrastructure Leadership team.Be the operational contact for matters related to BAU infrastructure escalations.Lead capacity planning and performance monitoring across data centre, network, storage and compute.As data points become available, work with the Data team to publish dashboards depicting the health of the infrastructure estateSupplier & Commercial GovernanceOwn IT infrastructure supplier relationships and commercial governance to assure service performance, value for money and alignment to AGS standards;Own IT Infrastructure supplier relationships, including participation in procurement processes, supplier onboarding, SLA/KPI performance, and cost management within budget.Ensure supplier SLA governance applicable to IT Infrastructure & Continuity.Be a key participant in supplier management across IT Operations, Cyber and Compliance teams to ensure the Infrastructure team’s needs are represented.Continuity, Backup & Disaster Recovery AssuranceLead the planning, testing and assurance of business continuity and disaster recovery to meet agreed RTO/RPO and availability targets;Own the annual review/testing programme infrastructure for business continuity management and disaster recovery plans.Manage continuity testing programme and reporting, tracking actions to conclusion.Manage backup system checks (both the inhouse solution and via the outsourced providers) to ensure availability and integrity.Maintain a comprehensive, stakeholder-agreed register of BIA and service recovery documents with RTO/RPO objectives for critical/high-priority systems.In conjunction with the IT Operations Manager, maintain the departmental systems criticality matrix, agreed with stakeholders and third parties.Infrastructure Risk, Compliance & Policy ManagementOwn actions related to infrastructure risk, audit and compliance activities and maintain policies, standards and secure-by-design controls aligned to internal and external requirements;Own IT infrastructure audits, risk management plans and compliance.Support the Director of IT Infrastructure with the departmental risk register.Conduct risk reviews of new/existing systems (including cloud) to quantify IT risks.Maintain and improve IT policy documentation.Ensure alignment to current and new internal/external standards applicable to the Infrastructure estate.Assist in the development and execution of policies, standards and guidelines governing IT selection, development, implementation and use at AGS.Architecture, Continuous Improvement & Stakeholder EngagementCollaborate on fit for purpose architectures and roadmaps; drive continuous improvement; and serve as a key interface across AGS to support secure, highly available services for a 24/7, multi airport operation;Collaborate with the AGS Solutions Architect to develop cohesive, cost effective architectures, systems and business processes aligned to IT strategy and business priorities.Support the development and maintenance of architectures, frameworks and roadmaps that deliver strategic IT goals.Maintain awareness of emerging industry trends and develop potential operational IT solutions within governance processes.Propose IT contributions to continuous improvement and business process improvements.Provide advisory and consulting to the business, IT and external stakeholders; act as a key interface to the IT Infrastructure team.Support the wider IT management team (operations, applications, cyber, data & digital) in delivering secure, highly available services for a 24/7 operation across three airports.Qualifications and experienceEssential Knowledge:IT Service Delivery management, including knowledge of ITIL.Professional Qualifications:ITIL certified.Relevant vendor certifications (eg: CCNA, MCSA/E).A good understanding of core IT infrastructure components (data centres, networks, storage, compute, cloud).IT service continuity principles (BC/DR, RTO/RPO), including knowledge of enterprise backup solutions and recovery strategies.Understanding of monitoring
