    Reporting Line: Planning Lead / Project Controls ManagerRole SummaryAn experienced P6 Planner is required to support a high-security project based in Derby. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering expert planning, scheduling, and earned value management (EVM) support across a portfolio of projects, ensuring programme performance and effective project controls.Key AccountabilitiesProvide specialist planning support to internal project teamsDevelop and manage fully integrated project schedules in Primavera P6Implement and monitor planning processes and best practicesProduce schedule and earned value reporting in line with business cyclesContribute to the delivery of long-range, operational planning activitiesSupport emergent project requirements as directed by the Planning LeadBuild strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and project leadsPromote and maintain high standards in safety, security, environment, and qualityKey ResponsibilitiesDeliver accurate and timely project planning, controls, and forecasting dataPerform earned value and schedule performance analysis (e.g., SPI reporting)Review and maintain work breakdown structures (WBS) for active projectsSupport the development and improvement of planning processes, tools, and templatesAssist with training and guidance on planning systems and best practicesCollaborate across teams to support integrated project schedules and reportingRequired Skills & ExperienceProven experience in project planning using Primavera P6Strong understanding of EVM principles and performance metricsExperience supporting complex, multi-disciplinary project environmentsExcellent communication and stakeholder engagement skillsMust have British passport We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity in our company.
