    Are you an experienced Data Analyst with experience in, and a passion for producing highly governed, regulatory and critical reporting? If so, it could be time to join the newly established Data Strategy & Capability Department at Admiral. We are creating a new team that will review and oversee Critical Reporting across our UK Insurance Business and support our Data Teams with frameworks, standards and best practices. We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Analyst to provide insights, peer reviews and recommendations, using internal data sources and best practices, that guide and support the Data & Analytics Function and wider Product Departments. Working alongside our Compliance, Data and Regulatory Advice Teams, you will collate, transform, analyse and present findings that enable these teams to provide accurate and timely critical reporting. Main Duties: Work in conjunction with the business to identify Critical Reporting and carry out first class peer reviews providing guidance and recommendations to our Reporting Teams. Ensure effective quality assurance has been undertaken on all work and that appropriate caveats are made clear, to guarantee the accuracy of reporting and correct interpretation. Maintain and improve the data quality and integrity of our critical reporting data and ensure compliance with data governance and security standards. Contribute to the development and innovation of the Data Strategy & Capability Team and the wider data community by sharing your ideas, knowledge and best practices. Skills and Experience Required: Previous experience of working within a Data Analysis role at a Senior or Technical Senior Level ideally within a highly regulated or governed environment. Strong awareness of best practice around coding, quality assurance, unit testing and efficient coding standards. Demonstrable experience in data analysis using tools and languages such as SAS, BigQuery, BI tooling, R or Python. Keen eye for data visualisation techniques and storytelling with data practices, maximising user interpretation and enabling data-informed decision making. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with different audiences and stakeholders, both verbally and in writing, with the confidence to challenge others based on your findings. Essential Criteria Qualified as a Solicitor (or Chartered Legal Executive) , with a minimum of years’ post-qualification experience in multi-track claims handling. Exposure to catastrophic injury claims and a specialism in child brain injury litigation. Proven ability to manage high-value cases exceeding £, independently. Demonstrable experience in mentoring junior solicitors (Grade C & D). Outstanding communication, organisational, and negotiation skills. Specific Second Charge Specialist Lending experience desirable but not essential. Track Record of working within a targets & Customer Satisfaction driven environment. Ability to manage and utilise MI to translate into increasing opportunities.
