As a Manager within the EUI Compliance Department, you will be passionate about supporting a variety of teams to comply with regulatory requirements and deliver good outcomes to our customers. About the Team The role of the team is to provide customer-focused regulatory advice, guidance, and support across all UK Insurance Functions, ensuring they deliver good outcomes to customers and comply with regulatory requirements. As a Compliance Advice Manager, you will support the implementation and ongoing adherence to regulatory requirements by providing independent review and guidance. Collaborate with colleagues and establish and build strong relationships with senior stakeholders.     The role focuses on building UI components that are dev ready and adhere to the technical and style guidance of the organisations established design system. The role requires a love for UI and an eye for detail, as the role is centred around maintaining, creating, and organising new components into our design libraries. As design system UI designer, you’d need to have a good understanding on how components work in the development environment and have good technical knowledge to bring your Figma design to life when handing over to the development team. This unique role needs to enjoy all aspects of user interface design, from their conception to their construction, be able to adhere to brand guidelines and deliver components that scale.

    The role will be working on a number of brands, across a number of channels, so we want a visual designer that loves to get their hands dirty in creating assets, developing their visual identity and is excited to work with the development team to bring them to life.


    What this role is about - key themes:

    We're looking for a UI and Interaction designer to contribute to our next big goal. Our new goal is to extend the reusability of the design system. Your day-to-day responsibilities will have you creating new UI components, refactoring old ones to meet the design systems standards, whilst maintaining any changes required to our design libraries to ensure the development teams have all the resources readily available.

    As a UI/Interaction designer we would expect an excellent / export knowledge in Figma. With a strong knowledge and experience of building bespoke UI components and using custom design libraries. A must for the role is to have demonstratable examples of committing and developing a design system first hand. We’re want this role to take ownership of design enhancements, including good knowledge of both visual and interaction design.

    We are also looking to harness the power of tokenisation, giving us the ability to maximise experiences through a limited set of well tested, high quality UI components.

    Key Skills Required Extensive experience as a UI / Interaction designer (+ years’ experience). Expert / excellent knowledge of using Figma and components.
