However, we understand the importance of a positive work-life balance, and therefore, if you require some flexibility to better suit your personal or professional needs, we encourage you to discuss this with us, and we will do our best to accommodate your preferences where possible.Your impact:In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to:Lead the Occupational Therapy provision at Moorpark PlaceManage a varied and complex caseload, providing highly specialist OT interventions tailored to individual needsOffer guidance and advice to colleagues across the multidisciplinary team on OT-related issuesKeep up to date with evidence-based practice and contributing to service developmentEvaluate effectiveness of the service and carrying out audits where requiredTake responsibility for OT-related training and supporting the development of staff across the serviceEnsure robust risk management and safety procedures are in place and adhered toBuild strong, meaningful relationships with patients, carers, colleagues, and visitorsKeep people safe from any harm and protect their human rights.About you:We’re looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, compassionate professional who is:HCPC registeredSkilled in working with adults with autism and learning disabilitiesConfident in managing a complex caseload independentlyA strong communicator with experience of multidisciplinary workingPassionate about helping people achieve their potential and live full, active livesSuccessful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBSWe also want to ensure that individuals with disabilities are provided reasonable facilities to participate in job applications or interviews to perform essential job functions.
