Because we know that, when we work together, we can make a huge difference to bring lasting improvements to vulnerable children's lives. A bit about the role Our Facilities Manager reports directly to the Estates Business Support Manager and will provide day to day line management of the Estates administrative team in the Cardiff Head Office to support aspects of our national maintenance, through effective upkeep of property databases and systems.This is an exciting opportunity based at our head office in Cardiff, where you'll oversee our Estates Administrators to support a designated Regional Estates Manager and subsequently an allocated area of Services within the UK.As a Facilities Manager you'll ensure that our Estates Administrators regularly update our systems across the Estates department including Compliance, Salesforce, travel and aspects of Health & Safety.You'll also be liaising with external contractors as and when necessary, to obtain any additional information relevant to any ongoing projects, as well de-escalating any queries, which are unable to be resolved at initial contact stage.How you'll help to create brighter futures  Lead, Mentor and manage a team of Estates Administrators, ensuring high performance and professional developmentDevelop, manage and monitor the facilities budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness whilst maintaining high standards of services and safetyProducing detailed reports for the Senior Leadership Team in relation to ongoing projects and budgetsSupporting the development and implementation of the internal business systems and policies including Compliance and Fleet.Supporting the development and implementation of our internal continuity plan, collaborating closely with tenants to advise on their own needs and requirements for business continuity.Ensuring our Estates Administrators continue to deliver a high standard of customer service to all building occupants and visitors, including commercial tenants, Action for Children staff and external parties.Work collaboratively and hold meetings with Head of Estates and Head of Health Safety and Wellbeing to report on all building matters. You will develop and implement an organisational digital transformation roadmap and deliver ambitious income targets from digital marketing and new income streams.How you'll help to create brighter futures  Leading the organisational digital teams to build of a centre of digital excellence to improve business outcomes for the entire organisation and to directly provide strategic expertise in the digital & technology landscape.Providing effective and qualitative direct line management to professional leads through an open and positive work relationships.Crafting, delivering and to subsequently review performance of an organisational digital transformation roadmap.Delivery and assessment of digital marketing and content plans to establish substantial income targets.Development, implementation and monitoring of a single digital supporter engagement acquisition and loyalty plan.Leading a transformational digital service delivery programme to reach more children and families using digital tools.Working with other externally facing heads of function to utilise digital communications and brand awareness activities. Let's talk about you as Assistant Director Digital Experience of digital leadership in the charity sector and ideally within a commercial setting.Experience of leading digital platform and marketing teams to deliver large-scale digital transformation, ideally from outside of the charity sector across people, process, tools & tech, marketing & innovation.An entrepreneurial mindset with a demonstrable understanding of digital marketing strategies, including SEO (Search Engine Optimisation), SEM, content marketing, and social media.Familiarity with online marketing tools and web-based technologies, including proficiency in using Google.Translating business goals into effective digital strategies.Understanding of UX principles and best practices.Knowledge of how to enhance user engagement and satisfaction across digital platforms.Familiarity with content creation, curation, distribution, and the ability to maintain brand consistency across digital channels.
