Salary: Dependent on experience Facilities & Maintenance Co-ordinatorLocation: On-site, Essex (commutable distance required)This is a well-established position within the business, and you'll work independently while collaborating closely with colleagues across all departments and external suppliers. You'll report directly to a senior operations leader and play a key role in keeping the site safe, efficient and well maintained.Key ResponsibilitiesFacilities & Building ManagementAct as the first point of contact for all facilities contractors (cleaning, security, alarms, air conditioning, gardening, electrical, plumbing, waste, utilities, decorating, etc.)Oversee regular and project work to agreed specifications and contractsCarry out basic maintenance and low-level repairs where appropriate (e.g. light fittings, ceiling tiles, door handles, minor decorating)Monitor buildings and carry out preventative checksManage site access, keys and key holdersVehicle & Fleet AdministrationManage company vehicle fleet administration, including checks, servicing, MOTs, tax and breakdown coverSupport the purchase of new vehicles and disposal of old vehicles as requiredIT & Telephony SupportWork with an external IT support provider to ensure effective first-line IT supportManage IT and mobile phone inventoryOrganise purchase and setup of laptops, PCs and accessoriesNew starter IT setup and leaver equipment collectionHealth & Safety AdministrationSupport day-to-day health & safety systems and processesCoordinate fire alarm and emergency lighting testsManage contractor H&S documentationGeneralProvide general support as needed to ensure smooth business operationsOccasional out-of-hours attendance may be required for alarms or contractor visits (time off in lieu provided)Skills & ExperiencePrevious experience in a facilities or maintenance roleHands-on experience with building maintenance and minor repairsExperience managing contractors and suppliersBasic IT knowledge (hardware, software, printers, telephony) Reference ID:
