ROLE OVERVIEW AND PURPOSE Building Services Operative/Fabric Engineer based on site within a team of operatives undertaking planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and building fabric within a retail property environment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES To carry out planned and reactive maintenance as instructed by the Contract Manager. Including, but not limited to fault finding, test, repair and preventative maintenance of building fabric and other duties in support of the rest of the team. Duties will also include carrying out various non specialist building fabric maintenance tasks. To close / update completed PPM tasks on the site computerised maintenance system. Ensure engineering standards are maintained to maximise the operation effectiveness and reliability of the plant and associated systems. Adhere to radio procedures at all times. Record all events/incidents in the Security Officer notebook correctly and follow notebook policies. Undertake any other reasonable duties as required to meet the needs of the business. Any other reasonable duties as requested by your line manager. Respond promptly to all security issues and events. Complete all training requirements as requested by line manager. Be available to cover at least one additional shift per month if requested to cover absence or annual leave.
