About the role
-A Behavior Support Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting individuals who may have challenging behaviors, often in educational or therapeutic settings.
-Their primary responsibility is to assist and implement strategies designed to address and manage challenging behaviors.
-Assisting in the development of individualized behavior intervention plans based on assessment findings.
-Working closely with teachers, parents, and other support staff to ensure consistency in implementing behavior interventions.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Behaviour Support Assistant you will:
Suitable qualifications such as Youth Work, Health and Social Care or Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools are desired but not essential.Have strong communications skills with the ability to quickly build rapport with studentsAble to obtain suitable references and a DBS check.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
two years experience supporting students with special educational needs
