We are seeking a visionary Head of Sales to lead commercial change and spearhead a period of significant digital and operational transformation. As a premier supplier of electrical components, our client provides the essential "nuts and bolts" that keep the UK's infrastructure running, from power and lighting to cutting-edge renewables and building control technologies. The Role of Head of Sales, Electrical Components
In this role, you will lead and mentor a high-performing team of six, including three external Field Sales Business Development Managers, two Internal Sales professionals, and a dedicated Sales Operations Manager. Your mission is to move beyond traditional selling by fostering a consultative approach that helps everyone from local SMEs to nationwide M&E firms source the best solutions for their major projects. You will be responsible for driving team performance, ensuring revenue targets are met, and continuously improving the sales processes and systems that underpin our growth.
A significant portion of your remit involves modernising the sales engine by refining usage of the Salesforce CRM and partnering with marketing to optimise lead generation and utilise data-driven dashboards to eliminate bottlenecks and improve conversion rates.
