24/7 Support UK Limited is a well-established growing team based in Peterborough, Grantham, Leeds, Nottingham and Doncaster and all working together helping our young people in crisis to find their independence through continuous support and mentoring within our semi-independent living provisions. We are looking for a passionate, caring, self-disciplined experienced Registered Childrens Home Manager (Dual Registration) for a 3 bed Residential Childrens Home and a 2 Bed EBD Residential Children's Home in the Peterborough area.
Overview of Homes and Support Structure
The homes operate under dual registration, with each home holding its own individual registration. All homes currently maintain aGoodrating fromOfsted.
Support Structure:
One of the homes accommodates asolo placement, while the other currently housestwo settled children.

Qualifications & Responsibilities:
You will have to be dedicated to supporting and improving the lives of the children we support and care for. You will be promoting and delivering the highest possible standards of care to vulnerable children. Acting as the senior professional person within the staff team at the home, you will ensure that all aspects of care and support delivered are compliant with current legislation and that high-quality care is embedded within the culture of the team and company. Ideally you will have experience of working in dealing with challenging behaviour environment settings with vulnerable children, have the ability to use your own initiative.
You will have a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or equivalent or a social work qualification with a minimum of two years experience in a similar setting or at least a minimum of 2 to 3 years as a Registered Manager having a minimum of "Good" Ofsted registered rating with a good track record. You will ensure that the home meets the Childrens Homes Regulations and Quality Standards and you will play an important part in supporting the Head of Service / Directors in regulatory inspections. Your primary role will be to actively safeguard and promote the welfare of the children to ensure that they are loved, happy, healthy, safe from harm and able to develop, thrive and fulfil their potential. You will provide a positive role model for the children, presenting yourself in a highly professional manner. You will be responsible for contributing to the development of service strategy, business planning, budgeting, report writing and overall day to day management and operations of the home. Excellent IT skills are essential. The ability to work flexibly to meet the needs of the services including working evenings, weekends and bank holidays which may include sleeping ins as well.
