    The position of HGV Class 2 Driver has arisen within our Invergordon depot. The successful candidate must be motivated, great customer service skills and have an excellent work ethic.

    Main roles and responsibilities:

    Trunking between depots
    Demonstrating good heath and safety practices.
    Loading/Unloading vehicle
    Ensuring good housekeeping while at the depot.
    Manual handling.

    Advantageous:

    ADR experience is advantageous but training can be provided.

    Clean driving license preferred

    Forklift licence

    Required:

    Full Cat C

    Valid drivers CPC card

    Valid Digital tachograph card

    Hours:

    47.5 hours per week, Mon-Fri. Candidate must be flexible with hours.

    _ Are you a skilled Powered Access Mechanic seeking a new career with a leading equipment rental company? As a key contributor to our success, your expertise will diagnose faults and ensure the highest standards of equipment maintenance. This role is predominantly workshop based however you may be required to conduct on-site servicing and repairs for our customers. _

    What you'll do:

    Conduct comprehensive maintenance and repairs on a diverse range of powered access machinery and equipment.

    Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in the equipment.

    Provide technical support to customers where required, offering guidance on optimal equipment usage and addressing inquiries promptly.

    Uphold the highest standards of safety and maintenance in all tasks and operations.

    Collaborate with the team to contribute to the overall success and efficiency of our company.

    Maintain accurate and detailed records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and service history.

    Utilise strong mechanical skills to ensure precision and reliability in all aspects of the job.

    What you'll need:

    Previous experience in the repair of powered access equipment.

    Good all-round mechanical skills.

    Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.

    Knowledge of electrics, electronics and hydraulics.

    Good customer service skills and a valid driving licence.

    Receiving enquiries from clients

    Preparation of tender price

    Requirements:

    You will previously have worked as an Electrical Estimator for a minimum of five years and be confident working on multiple projects of various sizes and types simultaneously however we would consider Project Managers that want to go into estimating.

    A highly flexible attitude and willingness to deal with jobs of all types and sizes. This may include smaller works down to values of circa £10,000

    Experienced and happy to work on pre-designed or design and build opportunities

    Proven experience and a strong understanding of contractual elements of projects, including JCT and NEC

    Commercially astute and willing to make decisions

    Highly creative and able this think outside of the box

    A problem solver

    It is important that you have worked your way up from the tools and have previously worked as an electrician. A core understanding of the practical aspects of installation are important

    Proficient with IT systems as the company have modern processes

    Happy working to targets

    You will live no more than a 40-minute commute from our office.

    The Role:

    You will be carrying out regular MOT service inspections on a wide range of manufacturers' trucks. Fault finding, and carrying out repairs on engines, gearboxes brakes, suspension systems etc. Completing paperwork such as job cards and service sheets, using Volvo's in-house systems.

    Qualifications and experience required:

    City and Guilds / NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Heavy Vehicle Repair and Maintenance Ideally you will be have completed an apprenticeship where you have gained experience working on commercial vehicles such as Volvo, Scania, DAF, Mercedes, Iveco, buses and coaches experience also of interest.

    IT literate.

    Able to demonstrate knowledge and experience as a HGV Technician/HGV Mechanic/PSV Mechanic. LGV C + E licence beneficial not essential. HGV/PSV licence an advantage.
