    The Catering & Facilities Management Service is looking to employ an additional cleaner to further enhance the cleaning standards within the site with immediate effect.
    You will be required to work between the hours of 6:00am to 8:30am or / and 3:15pm to 5:45pm Monday to Friday. We are looking for candidates who enjoy working in a busy environment, as part of a team of staff and who are able to communicate at all levels.
    Experience is desirable but not essential as training will be given. Duties will include: vacuuming, washroom cleaning, sweeping, mopping, dusting, washing of furniture, window cleaning and occasional use of electrical cleaning machinery i.e. buffing machine and wet pick-ups.

    Who we are looking for A Cleaner, who will work as part of a team to maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout our offices.
    Working as an integral part of the cleaning team, you will report directly to the Cleaning Team Leader who will allocate tasks for completion.
    You will be required to complete general cleaning duties in various areas within the building including the offices, breakout areas, and toilets whilst following all Manual Handling and COSHH regulations.
    Whilst previous experience cleaning offices would be advantageous, full training will be provided.
    The night shift follows a 7 on 7 off pattern, the working week running from Monday through to Sunday followed by a full week of 7 nights off. Typical shifts will require you to start at 18:00 and finish at 03:30.

    Preferred Skills, Qualifications and Experience Experience using buffer machines and carpet cleaners is beneficial. Basic computer skills are preferred. Ability to work to a high standard with excellent attention to detail. Ability to use your own initiative towards work.
    Main Responsibilities Emptying bins, hoovering, mopping, as well as high and low level dusting. Completing tasks set by the Cleaning Team Leader. Using cleaning machinery including buffers and carpet cleaners.

    Experience is desirable but not essential as training will be given. Duties will include: vacuuming, washroom cleaning, sweeping, mopping, dusting, washing of furniture, window cleaning and occasional use of electrical cleaning machinery i.e. buffing machine and wet pick-ups.
    You will play a vital role as part of a large team of cleaning staff, however, this post is predominately one where you will be expected to work using your own initiative and you will be expected to program your daily routine to meet the needs of the site.
