Typical Responsibilties
Identify and target key specifiers: Research and identify architects, designers, engineers, consultants, and other relevant stakeholders involved in projects where our products/solutions would be a good fit.
Build and maintain relationships: Develop and nurture strong, long-term relationships with specifiers through regular communication, presentations, and networking.
Product presentations and education: Conduct compelling presentations and CPD (Continuing Professional Development) sessions to specifiers, highlighting the features, benefits, and technical advantages of our products/solutions.
Steer specification writing: Work closely with specifiers to ensure our products/solutions are accurately and favourably included in project specifications.
Project tracking: Monitor project pipelines and proactively engage with specifiers at the early stages to secure specifications.
Collaboration: Liaise with internal sales, marketing, and technical teams to provide market feedback, develop sales strategies, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Technical support: Provide technical information and support to specifiers to assist them in their design and specification processes.
Market awareness: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and relevant regulations.
Reporting: Maintain accurate records of activities, contacts, and project specifications using CRM systems.
Achieve sales targets: Contribute to the achievement of overall sales targets by successfully securing product specifications.
